There have been numerous apologies from the Japanese. People just don't take them seriously or forget about it because of their next actions.

You don't think we Americans hated the Japanese after the unproveked attack on pearl harbor while negociating a peace treaty in Washington D.C. at the same time.
We did and we brought them to their knees We firebombed their cities and nuked them .
Many of thier national treasures were also destoyed your people are fully aware of this wasn't that enough of a pay back for what they did to you.

Japan is now one of our best friends and as Americans we to learned more about the Japanese people also. They fought one hell of a fight . Most americans grew to respect them and rightfully so. we see them as an honorable people.

We may not understand the ful history of the far east but were tring . The Japanese have most definitely earned my respect.

South Korea is about to get a lesson in economics as American companys quit buying their products and buy more and more made in China products . Remember your history cause your going to be going backwards. Its just simple economics I think maybe your two countries should resolve your problems because the sleeping giant has awaken.

but there is a huge difference, koreans are consumers more in the mold of americans than the japanese are.

shoot, american cars sell very well in korea as compared to japan.

As for Japan using the USA not likely . The USA is the only country to ever defeat Japan we did it twice. Even mighty Russia was brought to her knees by this small Island country. How was this small country able to accomplish this feat. Because these people have heart and lots of it .

As I said if I were Korean I would try to make friends with these people and try to seminate their strength. Your going to need it as the growing population in China needs more food they will take the land they want and need.
If you think the USA will come to north Korea's add when China takes this country your sadly mistaken. Hell we will probably be relieved when they do it.

Here's a tidbit for you. After 9/11 I would guess this whole conversation is being monitored by the USA government the odds of this are 1/1 and its not me their watching. Get it.

the problem is that a vast majority of Japan has nothing to do with the Korean occupation. Most of the people from that time are dead now. Yeah, it happened and it sucks. But if you want to dwell on it and shun an entire country for something a minute percent of the population has anything to do with it, then be my guest. I couldn't care less

Any of you guys ever here of Joseph Stalin now here's a man that new how to kill and be brutal . What did he kill 30 million of his own country man. Forget the war. Hate the ideas of these men not the actions of the people they commanded. If we don't kill the ideas and the hate. There will be more of these men. Hitler was responsible for what 6 million hebrew murders. I wonder how many fell under Stalins knife I bet it was just as many if not more. The Dark ages. Why do you suppose it was called this?
