This makes Monster (the cable company) look like chump change.

What happens when you run over your $23,000 wire with the vacuum cleaner?

With that kind of money, you will have carpets that suck dirt and such through the the carpet.

You begin to hear your vacuum cleaner's motor the way it was MEANT to be heard. Also it overclocks it.

why would there be any advantage to better wire on the line anyways? not only does it run through 400 miles of plain old wire, its rectified and filtered anyways.. there's nothing on there you want. you dont want any pure 60hz on your audio - you want none of it..

crazy fvcks. This kind of ****** should come with a complementary bullet in the forehead for being too stupid to live.

I just soldered my receiver directly to the power transformer on the pole out back.

Do you think this'll make it sound better?

I couldn't resist, I had to buy two of teh $11,700 speaker cables. I should have checked my arrangement though since my speakers are 8.5' away and these are only 8' cables. Well I guess I'll have to try selling them on ebay once I get them.

My dad's best friend from grade school has some stereo thats rediculous. He wouldn't tell us how much it cost but he pointed to his mercades benz out side and said, "see that car? This costs more than that car." He said, heres the speaker cable I got, it's the cheap one, it cost $1000 for the cable. It was about an inch think and probably had enough shielding to make me wonder why they did not simply use individual DAC's in each speaker (only 2 speakers).

Crazy thing is... there was no EQ on the stereo at all. All it had was Bass and Treble.

That's not crazy, that's standard. The most expensive systems only have bass and treble controls because that's all you need.

Good stereos don't even have tone controls. They are pretty bad for the source.

Axiom of Audio Componentry: The quality of the component is inversely proportional to the number of buttons and flashy lights on the front. 😀

Within seconds of hearing the Valhalla, you?ll know! Not just another step-up from the Shiva and Vishnu, the Valhalla transports your system performance into the stratosphere.

ROFL I just find that funny... Oooh performance into the stratosphere. Duuuuude.

Yep...got to love the people that have EQs and make them look like waves in the ocean. 😀

I always go for a flat response whenever possible and only adjust the treble when need (if speakers are overly bright or too mellow).

edit: Not saying that EQs aren't useful because they can be. They can help correct deficiences in your system. It's just because a lot of people don't set them up correctly.

Heh yep that's why I like the front panels of my pre-amps clean as possible. 😀

I don't understand how peopel can justify spending that kind of money on a cable...I could live a year off the money for some of those cables....a YEAR!
