This is the most anti-bush/liberal forum I have ever seen...

Haha that would be so true if it were not for the fact that you've proven to all the witnesses here that you have this wonderful ability to ignore all the facts and arguments in order to troll.

I've been too busy puting you in your place to answer anything else. Besides, this thread was about how this forum is full of hate-Bush liberals and you and others have proven. So really, you are the one who is trolling.

I press you on this because you involved the Bible, and you interpret differently than I. Yeah I'm not perfect, and I can be a hypocrite. Ideologues who are as incapable of backing up their arguments really brings out the worst in me.

Call me an idealogue all you want but I get those principles from the Bible. If they weren't in there I wouldn't have a problem with it. We can go on an on, or you can stop anytime now. If I cared what other people on this forum thought of my I would be a neocon bashing liberal who hates when others disagree with him, but you already have that covered. :cookie:

this thread is so pointless

I've yet to see a tech forum - actually any forum online - that is pro-bush.

No surprise to me...

I've generally found that more intelligent people tend to disagree with Bush and his administration. The only really smart person I know that really defends Bush is also being investigated by the FBI for being busted with a huge amount of illegal software, music, games, etc. Quite ironic...

A perfect example of the leftist elitist attitude!

Yes... if I were a "leftist elitist". I never claimed to be a liberal or democrat, or whomever you disagree with. I think you just demonstrated the old saying "the pot calling the kettle black". I only stated that there seemed to be a correlation between intelligence and acceptance of the current administration's policies. And you seemed to prove my point...

When did I call you a leftist elitist? I never did. I said that what you said was an perfect example of how the left views themselves as some sort of intellectually elite. Give me a break there bud.

Or how Americans hadn't noticed the terrible stench of the Bush White House --

Until now. 🙂

I'm not sure if that was sarcasm or not. But thanks for a good laugh 😀

You could say that, but then how do you explain the total right wing circle jerk wargasm this place used to be just a few years ago?

(and this goes for other forums also)

So if the bible says something is bad, it is bad in your view, even if you would otherwise think it not bad?

Absolutely.

Interesting. Let's try the reverse. If you feel that some action is immoral but the bible says that it is perfectly acceptable which do you go with?

Smells like bait to me.

Oh what the heck, I'll bite.

The Bible.

Judging by your sig, I can see where this is going anyways.:disgust:

Thanks for putting me in my place then. Until I debated with you I've never learned quite how to be a hypocritical two-faced pseudoChristian who ignores the meat of Jesus's teachings in order to claim I was following "Biblical principles", all the while not providing a single shread of tangible support for the initial accusation... This lesson was much appreciated.

Apologies to everyone again for how this has degenerated. I will *try* to keep from posting again unless I have something insightful to offer.

I'd love to have the mods come in here and evaluate this thread. Political and religious views aside, from the beginning who's offered more and who's done more trolling? And whichever one of us is the troll, how about a little vacation from AT?

How about it mods?

Of course it was bait. I like to think that we are each responsible for our own moral codes, regardless of how we acquire them. I find it puzzling when folks place third party moral codes above their own. In this case you place the moral code you found in the bible above the moral code developed in your own mind. I guess I wonder how that works internally. I would think the dissonance would be bothersome at best. I can understand how someone might read a book, accept the moral teaching they find there, and take them as their own. It is the idea of reading a book, not necessarily accepting the morals they find there, yet still place them above their own moral code that seems strange.

I give the guy credit for at least being honest.

That's more than most of the posters here.

I don't agree with the train of thought myself, but I can respect his opinion.

How about you live by your "I dont judge anyone" and get out of here! You just cant let it go. Such pride for such a "meat of the Word" guy! LOL!
