3) Ok, so North Jersey would be what it was were not not right across from NYC? Wrong.
1) Sheetz blows, 1 gallon lemonade for $1.50 is unbeatable on your way to the shore.
2) Are you an idiot? Sports are regional, that's how it works everywhere you go. How many Red Sox fans are actually from Massachusetts?. Just because a team is named the New Jersey Devils doesn't mean I'm going to drive 2 1/2 hours to see a game when the Flyers are a 1/2 hour away and a far better team.
3) Of course not, but the same can be said for the surrounding area of New York. Does that mean it has no identity?

1) On the way to your dirty, sh!tty shore. And Sheetz has FAR FAR FAR FAR FAR better hot food. Not even a question.

As for the second two....here is what Jersey people can't get through their thick skulls. Jersey is under the impression that they are the greatest state in the world. People from PA, or pretty much anywhere else, are not NEAR as cocky as Jersey people, despite the fact that Jersey gets its wealth & its entertainment from another state. Is there anything WRONG with New Jersey? Nah, there are far worse places. Jersey people just seem to think that it is all self-earned...Jersey is what it is because of Jersey people...when its not.

Yeah i know. My town makes more money, and is in california.
.

Your town makes less than twice the "best towns average", yet the cost of housing is more than twice as much. The reason the poor people buy BMW's is because they can't afford a house, so they just rent and spend the money on crap like that.

It looks good if you're stupid and care about image, but in reality your net worth will be much less since 1) you couldn't buy an asset like a house and 2) you instead sunk your money into a liability like a car.

I have a 3 story house, and after only 2 years of owning it, the price has gone up over 200k.

EDIT:
Nothing to say about cali being the coolest state hu? Thats right. Also, does the fact MJ lives here mean noting? he could be anywhere!

In NJ, it is said that if a burglar breaks into your home and you harm him, the burglar will move into your home and you will go to jail.

No thanks! :)

Consider a "normal" major 4-way intersection where you have a left-turn lane each way.
Assuming each set of lanes gets a turn (there are often separate cycles for left turns and straight/right), a jughandle requires only 3 cycles to get everyone through, and there is less traffic crossing paths and better flow.

Diagram...just to see if I could!

If you could be assured that on any divided highway always used jughandles and jughandles either always came after or always came before the light, traffic would flow more smoothly on these roads as you can always be sure that the left and center lanes can be used for through-travel and the right lane is just for people entering or exiting the highway.

91TTZ: with the way some folks there spend money, you'd think they had unlimited amounts.

Jughandles are only more efficient in very heavy traffic. In regular trafic, the majority of the day, they are horribly inefficient and slow.

Just cuz it says 300k for a decent house doesn't mean you'll find one.
Half a Duplex around my town is 600-700k for a 3br 2bth

Especially with your POS Driving.

NJ is the only state that had 2 cities in the top ten.

Thanks....someone with some sense around here. To all the people talking crap about the NJ shore that are from PA, why are so many of you coming to my beaches then??? The people talking crap about the NJ Devils, and saying the Flyers are better, I am a Flyers fan, but look at the records...I don't think you can really say that the Flyers are a better team. I also think that you need to tell all of your profesional athletes to stop living in NJ if it's so crappy, especially the Flyers and Eagles players, there are too many to name that live in Moorestown and surrounding areas.

small towns where people see the same people all the time ? No thanks. Maybe nice for older folks though.

About NJ in general, I wouldn't have such a terrible opinion of it if it weren't for the bordering industrial area to NY (is that what that is?). The place looks like an absolute sh!thole for miles and miles once you leave NY. Even around the airport. And it's not even a big state. It's a case of the lowest common denominator I suppose. Just leaves a terrible taste...

The Flyers were better last season (the last season they played), but not if you look farther back. And if you look at the Devils vs. Flyers games before Stevens got hurt and the Devils vs. Flyers games after Stevens got hurt, you'll see why the Flyers were better last season. :)

I agree completely, and trust me I am a Flyers fan all the way, I actually dated Bobby Clarke's daughter. I don't think it really counts though I was in like 5th grade at the time, and it was one of those things that lasted like 2 weeks.....lol

You're a Flyer's fan? Screw you, get out of my state! ;)

You're from down around there, I guess it's to be expected.

I live in NJ, South Jersey to be exact. I usually hop off the NJTP at exit 2. I love NJ, I really don't care what everyone else thinks of it.
