The people talking crap about the NJ Devils, and saying the Flyers are better, I am a Flyers fan, but look at the records...I don't think you can really say that the Flyers are a better team. I also think that you need to tell all of your profesional athletes to stop living in NJ if it's so crappy, especially the Flyers and Eagles players, there are too many to name that live in Moorestown and surrounding areas.

The Flyers were better last season (the last season they played), but not if you look farther back. And if you look at the Devils vs. Flyers games before Stevens got hurt and the Devils vs. Flyers games after Stevens got hurt, you'll see why the Flyers were better last season. :)

I agree completely, and trust me I am a Flyers fan all the way, I actually dated Bobby Clarke's daughter. I don't think it really counts though I was in like 5th grade at the time, and it was one of those things that lasted like 2 weeks.....lol

I

You're a Flyer's fan? Screw you, get out of my state! ;)

You're from down around there, I guess it's to be expected.

lol....yeah I am only like 20 minutes from Philly, and I have been introduced to so many of the Flyers I would feel like I was ditching them to cheer for the Devil's. I have plenty of respect for the Devil's though....nothing better then watching a Flyers & Devil's game.

That's the spirit. All the animosity towards our great state is just jealousy and nothing more.

I can't imagine why you would think they would be less efficient in ANY type of traffic. I agree that the benefits are most pronounced in heavy traffic, but if anything it's at least equal to a "normal" intersection in any conditions. Either way you have to wait to make left turn.

this is my 3rd post in this thread. Read my 1st. Point is, it's hardly 'jealousy'.

Actually you need to think about what you are saying here.

1. more finalists in the contest from NJ then any other state.
2. Only state with two towns in the top ten is NJ
3. The two top ten towns are in completely diferent parts of the state, on is up north the other about 2 hours south.

Such jealousy towards a beautiful state....it's so sad.

About NJ in general, I wouldn't have such a terrible opinion of it if it weren't for the bordering industrial area to NY (is that what that is?). The place looks like an absolute sh!thole for miles and miles once you leave NY. Even around the airport. And it's not even a big state. It's a case of the lowest common denominator I suppose. Just leaves a terrible taste...

your are talking about a 50 sq mile area. compared to the rest of the state a very small portion.

have you ever been to Princeton? Livingston? West Windsor? Moorestown? Wall? Brick? Flemington?

most of NJ is very very nice. it is no longer the "Garden State" it once was (PA is much better for greener) but NJ is a very nice state. has lots of advantages when raising a family.

NJ Public Schools send more kids to college (percentage wise) than any other state. NJ has a very strong educational tradition. Princeton University, Lawrenceville Prep, Chaplin School, never mind all the very very good catholic schools in the area.

NJ is a great place to live.

next time find out a bit about the state before going off on it.

NJ is the only state that had 2 cities in the top ten.

Read the thread pal. I've responded to everything you said in this thread already, you just chose to ignore it.

Are you serious?

Think about it. There is moderate to light traffic, you want to make a left turn.

You can A) get in a left turn lane(which does not disrupt traffic and is logical), wait a minimal amount of time to no amount of time, and turn left. Or you can B) get into the right lane, figure out of the jughandle is before or after the intersection, turn, and sit and wait at the light.

Clearly it is faster to simply turn left.

Exactly the moronic opinion I addressed earlier in the thread. Jersey wouldn't be considered all that bad if the people that lived there weren't under some false impression that its the greatest place in the unvierse.

and californians don't feel the same way about their state? what about midwesterners? they don't feel that way about their respective states? what about Oregonians, i know they are pretty pleased with their piece of real estate.

explain to me just how NJ people are any different from those people?

only a moron would complain bitterly about where they live and continue to live their.

obviously you are not familiar with NJ. it has the highest population density of any state in the Union. what that means is, there is ALWAYS a lot of traffic in NJ.

Yeah except most of the intersections around here are lacking the all-important "Left turn yield on green" sign so you have to wait for the green arrow.

I've already stated, what, 3 times now that the only failing of jughandles is inconsistent application.

Jughandles are actually worse in PA because they show up in the most random and inconvenient places.

one of the replies earlier was, people hate nj because people that live in NJ brag about it to much (paraphrased).

is that about as stupid a comment as you've ever seen or what? how is that at all logical?
