i gotta give props too to the OP. although this homely guy wasn't his friend, he somehow felt compelled to save him from making an even bigger mistake (in this case, shelling out more cash). i don't know about you but whenever someone i know & care about is seemingly make a mistake (& they're just not seeing it for whatever reason), i do step in & give my 2 cents...and it's up to them to take my advice or not. whether or not they take with my advice is irrelevant, the fact that i pointed out what they clearly weren't seeing in their decision making, they can't later come back and say "wow, i had nooooo idea whatsoever. why didn't you warn/tell me?" it's all about doing the right thang, ppl. like i said a big props to the OP.
Yet another youngster who thinks they're so wise in the ways of the world that everyone should be groveling at their feet, begging for a nugget of wisdom.

Get over your damn self. Nobody wants unsolicited advice.

i never made any claims that i'm wise. like you, i have an opinion about this thread.

and as far as giving unsolicited advice, there are ways of giving it if the overall underlying intent is the other person knows i care about them & have their best interest at heart. hmm, just maybe, nobody around YOU (i.e. your friends & family) gives a hoot or even wants YOUR advice. and just from reading your postings on this thread, you have a bad attitude...yet another case of "misery loves company".

Here's some unsolicited advice: strangers don't give a damn if you "care about them".

So I went to a strip club tonight in Rockford, IL

Per city rules, they can not get completely nude. Pretty much they can strip down to a bikini. No bare tops or bottoms. (I know...it is lame as hell!) I'm glad I live in Wisconsin and can see some real strippers when I want to 🙂

yet another reason that I do not like Rockford, IL.

Do you like it when people tell you what to do with your life? Leave the poor guy alone. If he was a shy as you say it probably took him 2 months to get the nerve to enter.

If it hasn't already been said a couple hundred times before, let me say it again. The OP was completely in the wrong. It is every single man's God-given right to blow his whole paycheck on strippers if he wants to.

You should have smacked him not for "feeding the habit" but for dropping $200 on strippers that aren't even going to strip. "No topless, no bottomless." Remind me never to hit up a lack-of-titty bar in Chicago or this pissant town.

Yeah. They are pushing for this kind of socialist legislation here in Ohio too. Claiming strip clubs create violence, etc.

Sounds like a lot of people need to get better at minding their own business.

Telling him he's wasting his money makes as much sense as a nonsmoker preaching a smoker the dangers of smoking. Sure you may feel bad about the guy but there's no point in reminding him of the downsides.

Mind your own business and let the guy enjoy himself.

Yeah, seriously. For all you know that guy could be making shitload of money and $200 is just pocket change for him...

Why on Earth would you tell some idiot with too much money how to spend it? Strippers got to eat too. Leave him alone, and if it bothers you that much, maybe you don't belong in a strip club.

If he obviously knew what was up then looks like you made a mistake preaching to him. Let him spend his money and live his fantasy

You're too nosy, OP. Next time let DainBramaged enjoy himself without you meddling in his business.
lies, everyone knows DB wouldn't be able to spare the $200 on strippers
