I had a club house type of thing in my garage when (I was in elementary school in the early 90's) with every console. Kids from all over the neighborhood would come over to play games. It was fun stuff. :D

<---Graduated high school in 1991.

I miss driving in to school and hanging out in the parking lot before classes. I miss the music of the early 90's (I was a hair band fan  ). The movies. The television shows. I miss the small town atmosphere I lived in. House parties. Certain friends that I lost contact with over the years. Going to Friday night football games. My dirt bike. Coming home from college for summer to hang out with friends from high school. Less political correctness. And just the sense of feeling safe with no fear of terrorism.

Mainly the music. There was actually ok/good rock/alternative stuff then. Even the pop stuff was mildly amusing and enjoyable; not like the crap hybrid soul/rap we have no or "American Idols".

rediculous returns on investments

Edit: to clear that up...there are always ridiculous returns on investment...but in the late 90's...it was just too easy with all the dot-com stuff.

I was 16 in 1990 :(

I was... 2 in 1990.

Damn I'm getting old.

I miss the alternative rock movement. I've been collecting a wide range of the music I loved when I was in college and so much of it is amazingly dissimilar. When I turn on the current day rock stations it just seems like the same sound from song to song. Maybe I just don't get it anymore but that's how I feel at least.

Next year kids born in 1990 can go off to Iraq. Kinda makes you think, if we are still there in a another year, it will be 2 generations in a row that fought over there. Really makes you wonder what's going on.

I miss being able to see the twin towers from my bedroom window.

on a lighter note.... I miss the internet being new and exciting, when anyone with a moderate understanding of html and java could claim to be a web designer. on second thought, maybe not. page design was pretty horrible. just thinking about embedded midi scripts is bringing back bad memories.

I miss Britney Spears being hot. I also miss Nick Carter being hot :p

On the other hand, I don't miss dial-up at ALL.
