After I wrecked my car in the great snow storm of 2008, I was driving my dad's truck in town. I took a corner and gunned it, heading sideways down the street barely missing oncoming traffic and parked cars. Meanwhile I texted my dad to let him know I was taking his truck sideways down the road. He texted back, "Are you sure that's the best time to be texting?" I said, "Well I wasn't in control of anything so figured might as well."

I've never owned a new car and feel no urge to do so.
I like homemade gifts and hate people who give gift cards.
I'd rather live to work than work to live.
I've never had a 9 to 5 job or worked Monday through Friday and don't want one.

We just hate bad authors. We're both avid readers and there's a special hell reserved for authors just good enough to keep you reading in the hope they might actually have something meaningful/entertaining to say only to be left with a bad taste in your mouth wondering why you wasted your time.

I hate Quentin Tarantino films. With a passion. I truly believe they are an expression of his insecurities and he feels he needs to prove he is a man to the world. I'm not buying it. He's a horrible actor, a horrible director, and shouldn't be allowed to do anything else in the film industry.

No matter how much you might like Pulp Fiction, it could have been much better. And that is probably the best he'll ever make.
