I hate Quentin Tarantino films. With a passion. I truly believe they are an expression of his insecurities and he feels he needs to prove he is a man to the world. I'm not buying it. He's a horrible actor, a horrible director, and shouldn't be allowed to do anything else in the film industry.

No matter how much you might like Pulp Fiction, it could have been much better. And that is probably the best he'll ever make.

I loved Pulp Fiction. And how about Inglourious Basterds? That did very well at the box office and was very well received...although, I must confess that I haven't seen it yet.

Didn't like it. I think saying it's bad might be too much, but it wasn't good.

I've got something that 100% will agree to rip me on though. I purchased Norbit.

We just hate bad authors. We're both avid readers and there's a special hell reserved for authors just good enough to keep you reading in the hope they might actually have something meaningful/entertaining to say only to be left with a bad taste in your mouth wondering why you wasted your time.

...

:hmm:

well, you actually have a point there.

but dude...entertaining? yeah, I think so.

i totally dig his writing method, though, more than anything. It has served him quite well, he has lived comfortably off of it, and at the very least, he has shit-loads more talent than fucks like Clancy/Grisham.

She's awesome, that's why

Are you 15 and "totally going to rip into that dude/gal that totally wronged you in some horrible life-altering way that you will never recover from unless you publicly shame them in some horribly devastating and totally socially meaningful way?"

I don't like his image or lyics, but I really admire Marilyn Manson for his production knowledge and electronica. He really knows his shit, as evidenced by the score in the first Resident Evil movie.

I'm always impressed with his sound, and (puts on flame suit) I like him better than Trent Reznor in this regard.

Manson is pretty awesome; hated him in HS but dig him after I got into hard shit.

That said, that second statement is pure blasphemy.
