You can drive into a car going 200mph into a brick wall and not leave any marks on the wall or car. And for that matter the driver is unharmed.

You can make a car flip 20 times when you run into it going 200MPH, but you can't break through a chainlink fence at any speed, some games.

You can beat a car with your fists, crowbar, etc. until it explodes, but you can't break open a window to unlock a parked car, or even break the door off, so you can steal it.

Adding to the above comment:
You get huge bonus points if you can take out a city bus or some old couple in a motor home by ramming another car into them.

If you are TRYING to crash, your car will explode if it gets even the tiniest scratch from a wall or another car, but if you are trying to make someone else crash you can completely total your car and still drive 150 MPH with no loss of control of the vehicle.

Maybe you need a key, but better yet, you may never be able to open the door. Ever.

Not even with a crowbar or lock picking tools.

No hands are required to use ladders. You can even balance on the ladder, turn around, shoot at things, and still descend safely.

Just because you can see over something doesn't mean you can climb on top off it. As mentioned in the previous line, your arms are useless. Maybe you are too busy juggling all 12 of your guns and grenades all at once.

Normally you never speak or swear or even scream, even when being blown apart, swarmed by enemies, or asked direct questions. Silence is key.

I probably should have qualified this with "What I learned from Half Life", but really most of the FPS out there still suffer from all of these things
