About the language. I find it hard to believe anybody could go into a business and not be able to find somebody interfacing with the customers speaking english. I have been to Mexico a crap ton of times and they all speak english.

Very true. I have been to Mexico dozens and dozens of times, and not just to the touristy areas. I never have trouble finding English speakers there (as my Spanish is terrible). Hell, I spent part of last summer in Nicaragua in the middle of some of the poorest and shittiest places in the western hemisphere and I still had no problems with English speakers.

lol. No they don't. I lived about 15 miles from the Mexican border in southern California for almost a decade and I never had a single problem with being served in English outside of perhaps a family's tiny store somewhere.

This is some serious paranoia, man.

Well, it was my experience. I did not like it. I also don't like all the little drunk Mexicans in New York during the day. You live in the City so even YOU must admit to seeing that. How can someone get drunk DURING THE DAY? Unacceptable.

heh the only place i have trouble ordering is the former kroger/winn dixie asian supermarkets. seems like the only guy that speaks english is the hispanic fish dude.

Protip- Those dudes are drunks, push them directly on their solar plexis (their center of gravity on their chests) and they fall on their ass. They get out of your face. Simple and efficient. Works for women also.

A drunk dude whose face is near my crotch is a serious existential problem, IMHO. Someone closer to my height I can handle. Little people get away easily.

The difference between how you define concerned and how healthy people define it are different things. Normal people do not have your spoiled childish conceit. They don't extrapolate from what makes them concerned to great laws of the universe derived out of egocentricity, but rather just keep an eye open in case the drunk does anything. Once the drunk passes the matter is forgotten. They recognize that drunks are a part of the landscape, and that they are not there especially and solely to disturb Dari. It's the same with folk who speak Spanish. They don't speak Spanish to set off your egotistical paranoid delusions. It's just their language and possibly the only one they know, just as you may only speak English, and in whatever country you are in.

In Europe folk speak all manner of languages, several sometimes official per country, and the psychopathology you display has been rubbed out, just as folk in Africa don't swat flies. Your arrogant attitude that things are unacceptable is just childish immaturity and provincialism.

Most people assume that Hispanic automatically equals a Mexican looking person, which is silly since Mexico is only 1 country out of many. Most Mexicans are half or more Native American...Which is why they are short and brown [like Native Americans]. In Miami a large portion of Hispanics have blonde hair and blue eyes and could pass as a German [these people are infact closer to being "Spanish" than Mexicans are]. But ignorant people would be shocked to see that I bet.

There are Black Hispanics to, and Asian hispanics. So yes Hispanic is no more a "race" than "American" is.
