Not going to lie...I feel a bit guilty using charcoal. Natural gas is probably better than using lump charcoal for the environment.

Wood burning stoves are already a bit under scrutiny because of the smoke.

Moved to a place with gas going to the stove, for the first time in 15 years. Given the limited electrical input to the house, replacing it with electric will never be an option.
But before that, my entire childhood involved gas stoves.

Asthma is a condition. It's a description of your lungs and airways swelling or constricting. There are a number of things that can induce this condition that *ARE NOT* genetic.

My Dad did not congenitally have "asthma". But he did spend a really long weekend repairing tile in an indoor pool facility that was over chlorinated. It essentially burned his lungs and now he has a high sensitivity to anything with bleach. Even bleached clothes can induce what is described as "an asthma like response".

People aren't born with asthma. It's typically induced by something else, genetics, environmental irritants, ect.

You need separate out the condition from the catalyst.

Same, my last three homes I've had NG out to the patio areas. Used the same NG grill at each one. It's great. Pennies to operate and never have to swap tanks. It's probably one of the more overall efficient and "clean" means of cooking.
