he misquotes me, uses one of his own quotes attributes it to me and he apparently can't even make the distinction between being PERSONALLY insulted and recognizing that a thread can be insulting in general.

I draw the line at the point when people go from addressing my point to making a personal attack.
Once they resort to personal attacks, it doesn't matter whether they call me an idiot, hypcrite, a$$hole, fvcker, etc. It's the thought that counts.
And to tell you the truth, sometimes I find it pretty funny when someone come up with a really hot, really good insult. I have a sick sense of humor like that...

On this forum people never seem to get together.
But I found one thing that's helpful on the automotive forums is when you get to meet the people behind the screennames. I've found that it improves the atmosphere of the forum when people can identify a real person behind the words. And plus, we all get to have a good time driving our cars around and hanging out. It's a very positive thing...

I also should add, I find it quite hilarious that someone who is questioning the maturity of these forums is the same guy who up until today had an 'ignore list' in his sig.

Yes, as I've pointed out (in this very thread no less!) that I have engaged in flames on here. I never claimed to be a model forum member... just one that hopes to make things better.
