Why did Microsoft have to come out with new, buggy, and incompatible versions of two of the most-used built-in apps bundled with the OS.
I have a friend that installed Windows 7 beta 1, and he's having a heck of a time getting online television media players to work properly. I can just imagine how corporations are going to feel, as I'm sure that they probably just standardized on IE7, and now MS rolls out IE8.
Why do we need a new browser anyways? What was wrong with IE7? I thought that it was the best version of IE yet, best security and the most standards-compliant (compared to IE5 and IE6).
