Of all the developers out there, CDPR is one of the few that really deserve the full support of consumers. If you like CDPR and their games, I suggest that paying the full price for the game is the best way to show your support..

Using cheap tricks like this may also have the potential to backfire, as CDPR is aware of this loophole, so you don't know what they may do.

Geralt's beard never stops growing so by the time you finish the game all you see swinging a sword is a blur of white hair and leather. :awe:

There's a way to make it think you are in Ukraine and hence pay less. I paid £30~ last year and my brother paid £10 for the same thing 3 days ago.

Ahh. Yah, a VPN or something. That's crossing a line where you can no long plausibly say you thought you were just getting a discount key. I don't buy from key stores that require you to use a VPN to activate either.

just pre-ordered from GOG. CD Projekt Red is basically the last developer that I feel comfortable pre-ordering from, maybe Tripwire too.

Yep I'm also of the mind that CDPR is one of the few devs I'm willing to buy games for full price instead of on sale. I bought it even though I probably won't play it for like 5 years lol...darned Steam backlog!! 😀

That is console footage I hope. 😱

According to an IGN editor it was from the PC.

This site loves to nit pick anything they can find. I wish devs would spend more time on game play and less on graphics. The "OH SHINY" crowd is forcing devs to spend more time on resources on dimishing returns for video when they could increase the game world, add more things to do, and more game play features.

No, this site is f'ing golden compared to Neogaf. Those guys are kings of nitpicking, the negativity on that forum sucks the life and any modicum of enthusiasm out of me. If I witness the world end, I'll spend my last seconds smiling knowing that these guys are done too.

Anyway, as you all may know, 16 DLC's are coming our way but their will be 2 expansion packs too:
Hearts of Stone will premiere in October, while Blood and Wine is slated for release in the first quarter of 2016.
Both expansions will be available on all three platforms: Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4

Looks fantastic! I can tell this build is more recent than the one they used for the January footage, as the water looks MUCH better in this one.

This game is definitely going to be game of the year 😀

That said, the YouTube version has HORRIBLE quality because of the compression. The original IGN video is much better.

Huh? Just set it to 1080P and once it switches, it looks identical to the IGN one...

In which case, the game looks awesome. Cannot wait!

Is it going to be Normal open world game? or Bloodborne like?
I hate open world games, specially side quests 🙁 i hate exploring....
I only like games which will lead you to your next story mission without getting lost somewhere...
i always lose interest in games exploring and doing side quests...

Sigh, my body and mind are ready...my work schedule is not :'(

I was originally going to take some time off work for this, but due to delays its not going to be possible.

Sooo if I couldn't get into Witcher 2, primarily because i thought the combat was slow/clunky, chances of me getting into Witcher 3 are probably not great??

Look at this difference in build quality between the footage in January and the official gameplay trailer. Terrain tessellation is a go! 😎

*Edit* Might also be ultra quality

Please, tell me it's a joke or I missed something?
I pre-ordered TW3 in december or january, at $53 (with the -10% off) IIRC...

I now see it's $43 (with the -10% off too...)!?!?!? Am I missing something?

Where is it $43? GoG is still showing $53.99.. I recommend getting it from GoG if you want to support the developer..

Which is supposed to be the newer/better picture? All that is clear is these were taken at different times of day, with the sun facing him from another direction.
