Sure about that? I don't think CDP Red would ever allow a little accessorizing to detract from making a great game. You don't need to buy the collector's edition if you don't want to. Don't worry about it.

I Loved the first and pre-ordered this without hesitation.
I mean, its gotta be better than DA2.
And i have zero issues doing all i can to help a pc/rpg developer to help try and keep pc gaming alive.

They give a link in the order confirmation email to choose a free game, i still haven't decided, i may choose Gothic 2 since i never played it.

You can choose from Beyond Divinity, Divine Divinity, Gothic 2: Gold Edition, Realms of Arkania 1 + 2 or Realms of Arkania 3 for your free game.

Oh and i was able to download most of the game already with the last bit available at release. (i think it said there would be only 50mb more to download on release day)

Not to be a downer, but that looks exactly like Oblivion (the "Living World" aspect). I wouldn't get too excited about it.

That being said, this game looks like a good one.

Also, I've never downloaded games from GOG before, so I have a question I hope someone can clarify. Do i just download a single .EXE that I can store on my comp in case I need to reinstall the game in the future? How does GOG work?

Once you buy a game off of GoG, it's yours. You can install/play online or offline, install as many times as you want on multiple computers, and redownload as many times as you want. It's really a nice setup they have going there. Plus all of their old games are already patched to the latest versions, so you don't have to worry about hunting down and installing patches.

No extra software is required. Just download the installer, in the form of an .exe, straight from the website. Run and enjoy.

Although, they DID just recently roll out a new proprietary download manager that has some nifty features, but it's not necessary at all. (You might want to try it though, because it actually has on-the-fly integrity checking, which is helpful because TW2 will be a very large download).

I pre-ordered from Steam just for the sake of having it on Steam. But if the game is good enough, I might just buy it from GOG as well.

Eh, neither TW1 or Oblivion really has a living world. They're both basically the same TBH. NPCs living on preset schedules with minor randomization of their actions, and semi-random spawns of enemies in the "wilds".
