getting her an Irobot Roomba 770 from bestbuy, 20% off with a free $50 gift card, using discover card with 5% back from online purchase, and discover shop for an extra 5% back, it's a good deal.

it's a little more than I had planned on spending, but after working a shitton of overtime lately, I'm thinking of getting my boyfriend a chromebook for Christmas.

it wouldn't be my own choice in a laptop, but he's been talking about wanting one lately. I may also get him a Chromecast (because he needs a second Netflix streaming device in his living room desperately) and some other small things (a book or two, sexy underwear, etc)

Not sure what I'm getting her. We're keeping Xmas gifts for each other at $100 this year since we have a 10 day trip to Hawaii planned for our 10th anniversary and we'd rather save up more money for that.

Getting her pearl and diamond earrings

Several years ago after I got married, I got my spouse these:

I figured if you're going pearl anything, you might as well buy from the best. The year after, I got her a matching Mikimoto necklace. Then I found that she's not really into jewelry. :'( She'd rather have a new iPhone or computer or tablet. I suppose the lesson here is to figure out what she is into first.

GF is getting a road bike. Used, but in very good condition. Been hiding it in the basement for a month, only a few weeks to go!

The Samsung should have better battery life, but the Acer should be faster, and easier to install a different O/S. For myself, I'd go with the Acer, but the Samsung is probably a better made product all things considered.

I figure I've got about a week to order it, so the deciding factor may be whether or not the Acer gets back in-stock at Amazon before then.

Bose really is just better if you need the noise cancellation.

These are supposedly pretty decent though: http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica.../dp/B002HWJT1A

Sound isolation might be good enough, but not sure what to recommend there. Some IEMs with triple flange tips are supposedly good for isolation. And there's tips like Complys and other foam tips that are pretty decent for isolation but more comfortable than the silicon ones usually, so just pair them with some decent IEMs.

Monoprice, here I come....😛

Not sure why she even wants them. My singing is awesome and I never complain.😉

You'd think a $1k gas line for gas logs would be enough. Sheesh.:ninja:

Some Disney artwork. I think the engagement ring she got a couple weeks ago should be plenty for the next 10 holidays, but sadly it doesn't work that way.

I don't know if mikimoto is the best. It's definitely best known. I bought mikimoto pearl and diamond ring and pearl necklace. It was expensive but honestly the pearls look no better than the stuff you see at Costco.

I would go with the new Acer model. It's cheaper, faster, and has longer battery life. That Samsung model is over a year old without a refresh. I bought my daughter the Samsung Chromebook last Christmas. I wouldn't pay the same money for year old product.

$1K gas line for gas logs I don't care about? Yeah, that's me.

I am the guy that got her a mail box and a set of steak knives last time.:|

Well, if you're throwing money around like your clients then just go ahead and get her the good stuff 😛

Of course I love my wife so I get her nice things
