Yeah all the shooting at super close range with full auto weapons and pretty much only the bad guys get hit is a bit unrealistic.
As the trash people were coming in and checking out Alexandria and they were getting their weapons, I was like, they could easily turn the tables on the alexandrians and take over. There was so many of them. Hell a ton of them escaped yet.
How many people are left in Alexandria. They keep losing people but not gaining that we see, so there can't be much more than Rick's group left by this point?

It was a message left for him by Dwight that he didnt know about the planned betrayal by the scavengers.
That's what I thought but I couldn't remember the significance of the toy soldier or where we saw it before.

That is a big complaint for me, is the weapons manipulation and other shooting aspect. I know its TV, but fuck its not hard to do right and pisses me off.

As for the episode, I didn't really care for it. Didn't resolve anything, was building up all season to a big fight of winner takes all. Just postponed it till next year. Ugh.

The first toy soldier showed up when Dwight and his wife held him captive. Daryl woke up and saw Dwight carving one. Then when Daryl returned the insulin to Dwight's sister-in-law after escaping, Daryl insisted on a trade for returning the insulin. Dwight gave him the toy soldier, which Daryl kept in a bag on his bike, Dwight wound up with that bike after Rosita and Spencer retrieved it for him. The next time the toy soldier showed up for Daryl was when he escaped again, this time from the Sanctuary when he broke in to Dwight's room. We've also seen Dwight carve them a few times through out his time on the show.

I'm still trying to figure out how zombie Sasha jumping out of a coffin allowed all the people of Alexandria to turn around and shoot dead the people who had guns trained on them. I'm not even sure the people inside the fence could see what the hell was happening outside with Sasha, but even if they could, that seemed really odd.

Also, the garbage people piss me off. The fact that several of them escaped and we'll likely see them again really pisses me off. Somehow in a year or two of zombie nation we have an entire group of dozens of people that can barely scrape together two sentences, yet are not so stupid/brain dead that they can both survive and pull off a mass betrayal of our seasoned heroes?

Carl started the fight inside the fence in affect taking the Scavengers by surprise, suggesting that our group was at the ready.

I can't stand the Scavengers! I never want to see them again so that a large number of them ran pisses me off too!

how did negan make a deal with them? did he know them already and they blabbed or did Saviors see Rick's group going there?

we always hear about Savior outposts but it seems like no one ever runs into them while out scavenging.

Carl was the dumbest of all. He shot the garbage people legs. He should of shot the head. Dumb Carl is dumb.

Of course... another season without closing out the thing they've been building up to the whole time. Nothing but a meaningless tease. See you next year! *raises middle finger*
When is next season starting? Have they announce the dates?

The head Scavenger explained that her sidekick followed the food the Saviors took from Alexandria. That's how they made contact with Negan.

As for Carl it was indeed baffling that he shot them in the legs.

Seems fitting that the most stupid, boring, silly and useless season ends in the most stupid, boring, silly and useless episode. My god, what a pile of dung that was. It makes me look forward to the Dorne storylines on Game of Thrones.

It's too bad that we already have the phrase "jump the shark" because if we didn't I think the phrase "Feed the Tiger" would catch on.

I wish the Tiger showed up about 20 seconds later... If Carl is going to stay on the show, can someone cut his hair?

This show "fed the tiger" long before it featured a tiger. I guess the same could be said of Happy Days though.

LOL, my thought exactly.
And how does the tiger know who is the good guy vs the bad guy? Sort of like the random shooting and only hitting the other guys.

You gotta love how we're still nitpicking plot point details of a TV show about zombies that based off of a comic book :)

The point is that we CAN nitpick plot points of a TV show about zombies that is based off a comic book. Things have gotten so stupid that the show makes a mockery of its source material.

I love the frustration of this series. It's no trouble suspending reality for the absurd when it's a zombie apocalypse show. I don't care that Carl still holds his gun on the right, or that gas shouldn't work anymore or that nuclear reactors could possibly have melted down at this stage, or that the Scavengers barely got any shots off, or that Michone should have been able to waste that Scavenger, or that Rick was a B*tch for a time, or that Shiva shouldn't be able to tell the enemy from the friendlies (I'm assuming she's trained really well), and likely a thousand more things that don't and can't add up. Honestly, at this point the main crew should be dead, all of them 10 times over. This series is still awesome to me. Even if this show ends up as B-quality tv (it's not) I'm not above watching B-quality tv. Gonna keep watching ' til the bitter end.

I'd like to think that they got the land based nuclear reactors shut down before the zompockolypse got really bad.

What would be more interesting is the nuclear subs and aircraft carriers. You would think that some of them might still be out there, with desperate sailors occasionally making land raids and scavenging supplies to survive. Maybe Rick should have went to the Navy base in Norfolk and got one of them to lob a few cruise missiles at Negan HQ :)
