Meryl went down too easy, that is all.

No, that's not all. That man has survived alone for how long before he met back up with anyone? The man cut his own hand off, killed 16+ men, countless zombies, finally is re-united with his brother and the "good guys", and what/who kills him? The god damn governor. You're telling me he couldn't even scratch the governor, I'm sorry, Super-governor, with his knife-arm? I dunno, it confuses me how they'll spend 20 minutes the previous episode with the governor chasing Andrea though the warehouse only to have her mostly escape and this episode they only spend 45 seconds on Meryl and the governor's fight scene. Ok, that is all, end rant.

But I miss Shane here. No doubt Shane would have put a bullet in the governor during the sitdown.

This show has a problem of liking to kill off its most highly developed characters, without developing the people around them to take their place.

Ehh, he was only really developed in this episode and you knew he was going to die as everyone hated him and as a way to keep daryl around.

Now if they kill off daryl I will agree with you.

Rick is so stupid. I'm starting to hate him more than Lori. Michonne is never going to trust that she is part of the group now...no matter what Rick says. She knows what he tried to do.

Well he didn't so much as take them out as let the zombies do the dirty work other then the one headshot intended for the gov.

Both Rick and the Governor are hot-headed and rather poor leaders. I would have walked out on either of the groups long ago.

I gotta agree. For Rick to even consider turning over one of the group shows really weak character. Even if its a person who is new or fringe to the group, to want to turn over a person like that just turns my stomach. What if the dude turns around and asks for his son or of of the other core members, would Rick consider it then?

Well, before the prison group showed up, he had them all living pretty luxuriously, all things considered. And they didn't know what he was doing behind the scenes (slaughtering military personnel, etc.). So the loyalty is understandable. Then once the prison group arrived, they had to rally together against them. It's kinda like the old saying about Musselini keeping the trains on time.

As for Rick, I'll absolutely agree with you. I think he inherited the leadership position based on his position as a police officer and the makeup of the rest of the group but he's done nothing to inspire confidence.

Better cancel the series if that happens, otherwise you're stuck with Rick, Daryl, and Michonne. Oh and babby.
