He was an ass, but played and written well enough that he wasn't a one-sided piece of shit like 95% of the characters in The Following.

last two episodes have been ramping up again. this one was a pretty good one. had merle partially redeem himself and die within about 2 minutes.

Motorcycle batteries come in forms no different than car batteries. Traditional lead acid, maintenance free lead acid, absorbed glass mat, gel cells. I've never bought a motorcycle battery that I needed to add anything to.

Must be situational as I've never bought a motorcycle battery that DIDN'T come with the acid separately.

Also, somebody should be looting solar panels from autozone or wind turbines from specialty stores. Imagine if you could go into a Lowe's and forklift all the lumber onto a semi trailer and use it to build fortifications or walls. So much potential...

I agree. Overall I liked this episode, but the Governor is getting over the top.

I laughed when the car Merle hotwired turned out to be a donk. Well it is the south. They messed up on the continuity a bit though with the car. At one point it had some 22s on it, then another cut it had some old wire wheels, then back to the 22's.

I suppose it's a good thing as it showed the townfolk using a grenade launcher to take out a tower as they rolled up.

Merle was kinda growing on me as a conflicted character on Ricks camp, it made the dynamic interesting to think about. :\

Kinda worried what this is gonna do to Daryl, might turn him into an asshole.

Yeah... and he was listening to what? Hard rock, Metal? I would have expected hip hop or some BS gangsta base filled tune coming out of that thing. And they have been what? zombie fighting for over a year and the car starts after sitting there for how long?

I could just see it now, Merl rolling down the street with that hard bass rattling his trunk, with zombies clung all over the windows Every time he hit a deep note, all the zombies got blown off the car

yeah the scene with daryl seeing merle was pretty touching. i was hoping it would kinda focus on how merle had a gunshot wound to his chest, so that daryl would know that he was shot dead, which would mean obviously by the governor and his people, and that it would light even more of a fire under daryl to get the governor.

i thought the whole maggie/glen thing was LAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMEEEEEE AASSS SSHHIIITTTT. so fucking stupid and corny and felt totally out of place.

More Governor BS, he is a terrible character. Constantly does stupid shit and doesn't die. He is in shit situations while having one eye where any other character would die 10 times over, yet comes out on top while doing more stupid shit. I will be glad when he dies and we can get back to dealing with more realistic characters.
