the same thing happened with the 680i chipset and nVidia did release a bios fix that they say fixed it not long ago.
i got some similar errors trying to transfer data but found a different fix that involved native command queing settings in windows which does seem to have stabliized my system. i did see somebody who said after a few weeks they started getting errors again and massive fragmentation of rarely used drives. i decided for myself that i cant risk it,
i could be over-reacting as well. as you can see, i am the only person in this thread who had the failed write delay errors so maybe it is very isolated. maybe it really was a windows based thing with this mobo that i took care of. i looked at the track record available to me, my experience, and made my decision.
so i dont want to create unnecessary chaos over this since the 650i seems to be better than the 680i so far in this regard, in fact better than previous chipsets by nV - and the internet is a crazy place where you see more bad than good since people get online more to troubleshoot than anything else.
