What was ordered late last night:

Asus MAXIMUS IV GENE-Z
Intel Core i7 2600K
G.Skill 8GB (2x4GB) Sniper Low Voltage DDR3 1600MHz
Noctua NH-U12P SE2
Intel 120GB 510 SSD
Western Digital 2TB Caviar Green

Still looking for a new case, possibly also a PSU. MSI HD5770 Hawk will probably be replaced next year.

Nice rig. 120 gb in particular is nice for an ssd, my 80gb x25m g2 is just a bit too small to throw games on it. I think I'm going for a ROG mobo next time I upgrade, too.

Yesterday evening I was grilling some marinated chicken and ran out of propane about 1/3 of the way through the process. . . . , no problem. I brought it inside and cut it up into strips and finished it off in a skillet with some olive oil. I also used a lid. I paired it with some rice-a-roni. It was good.

Wow, I didn't know that you could only get 5000 posts per thread... we definitely need to get there!

I had some Florida BBQ in Naples over the past 4 days. However, nobody warned me about the sand fleas so I'm a bit itchy today. I am giving you guys fair warning now: do not under any circumstances get so drunk that you think it's a good idea to lay down on the beach at 2 am and fall asleep.

For the last few weeks in Seattle, I have been wearing my flip-flops without the fear of sunburned toes.

We should take a poll on the best place to get bbq.

My personal best experience is my Brother in law's house in Cibolo, Tx. For food I've actually paid for, I'd say that Atlanta is overall #1 just because I've been to so many different places there that offered very good to excellent bbq.

Home of Good Bar-B-Q in Seattle.

I have been going here since 1965 (until I had all my teeth pulled.)

I used to call in an order, pick it up, pick up my date, drive to the University of Washington shell house, rent a canoe, paddle through the Seattle Arboretum, picnic for a while, feed the bread to the ducks, and watch the skinny-dippers.

I was so enthusiastic when gnawing on the ribs, that my friends were afraid I would lose some fingers.

Rudy's in San Antonio, TX is my favorite place to go to. Food is great, and dine-in setup is excellent.

A neighbor lady told me today that she didn't think that I even knew how to boil water.

I want to prove her wrong, but I can't find instructions anywhere!

Let me know when you find a good instruction list to boil water.

As for BBQ, I am thinking about doing some chicken thighs on the grill with some BBQ sauce added for some extra flavor.

I found some instructions, but it had a decimal place in the wrong location, and I ended up burning the water.
