We are having fun - here in northern Sweden: The ash cloud from the volcanic eruption on Iceland has drifted over us and all air traffic is at a standstill in all of northern Europe. Tonight will be a quite night - we are approx 12 km from the airport and hear most of the flights - not really disturbing noise but we do hear it.
Today we hear nothing ...

Did you get a hit on Quake Catcher for the eruption?

Have you installed air filters on your BBQ grill?

I don't know if I got a hit om QC. OTOH: it is too far away - morfe than 6000 km and the Scandinavian mountain inbetween - so the surface waves are probably dead. The deep waves are too weak ...

No air filter - i prefer the mosquito filter. ;)

(Was fuer eine Schweinerei gibt es dann hier??)

He offered his honor.
She honored his offer.
All night long it was honor and offer (on her and off her).

Everyone in our home is ill. We are stimulating the economy by renting movies, doctor visits and prescription medicines. I wish I felt better so I could ignore this thread.

AFAIK the ash cloud is having no significant effects on temps here in the UK, it's been a nice & sunny weekend :). The ash cloud is very sparse here, can't see it at all either.

Well, you can't see it. The particles are microscopic. The cloud is between 2800 - 6500 m and does not yet have any impact except for a measurable reflection of the sun light - that is how the satellites see it. The impact if the Pinatubo eruption some years ago was a global cooling of 1 - 2 ºC for a peroiod of a year or so ... Anyhow, we will see ...
