Well, when he turned the Nazi guy, it seemed like he specifically wanted the worms to come out when they did. They weren't just randomly falling off him. So, I'd imagine he has some kind of orifice where they come out of.

He slit his skin with a fingernail to let one out.

I had thought it was a sonic high pitched attack, but it could be some kind of psionic one. My guess would be the Master has more abilities than we've been shown.

It really only effected the old man though. Which is why I think there is more to his connection to the Master than a simple "I was in a concentration camp and the Nazi were vampires!", which btw, annoys the crap out of me. We get it, Nazis were bad... That shit was 70 years ago, let it go already. I am sick and tired of everything being about Nazis.

Am I the only person that noticed the Master did something to old guy's brain to make him not attack? Could it be he is infected in some way? Or does this Master also have some kind of telepathy to everyone, not just his minions?

Based on how Eph was freaking while alone, I'd say telepathy to everyone.

Oh, and stay in the house Carl! *facepalm

stuff about s-words

Perhaps I sounded a bit too harsh. My point was pretty much the same as what you were saying- they're asking hundreds of dollars for stuff that, in many cases, could be made in someone's garage from a relatively cheap steel blank.

I'm not sure how they make the thicker stuff- I saw one that kinda looked like a Roman short sword or some such. I would guess they have to start with a big block and either hand mill or CNC it.

The kukri example is probably the best example. For the 'zombie' version, you're just paying for their finish...which does look neat. Kinda wondering how they get that mottled movie-quality look.

I should make my own uber-zombie-decapitator out of an old lawnmower blade or something.

A machete type weapon wouldn't be the best bet in a zombie apocalypse. It might serve sine some situations, but it would likely just be a nuisance. A spear would be far more wieldy and useful. You couldn't be constrained by narrow corridors, you wouldn't be off balance from a miss, you would have a longer range, and if accompanied by some kind of light weight riot shield, you'd be near invincible!

Yah, this would be the go to weapon I would have...

Or something like it. Mind you I wouldn't buy that overpriced one listed there, but something akin to it.

This was something similar in setup to the Roman Phalanx. It is basically near invincible to stop in a melee only situation. Which is why Roman conquered so much of the world at the time for a LONG time and held it.

a long weapon wouldn't be constrained in narrow corridors???

For swinging, but not stabbing and pushing. Even swinging though it isn't that bad. With the right spear weapon you don't really need to swing them much to get a good cut as you are letting the weight of the weapon with gravity do that work for you.

In Wikipedia about the book it is stated they have a power of telepathy to do that.

When I posted about zombie tools I mentioned that I would chose that weapon. One of the reasons why the Romans were so effective is that they couyld reach out and touch someone all the while being behind a shield.

They seriously would have been better off leaving the master cloaked with the hood on, he looks like a big muppet baby or something else goofy

Watched last episode last night. Thought it was a pretty good one, not sure why anyone would complain about this one being a slow one. Interested to see how the latin hooks up with the rest of the group.

Meh, it wasn't really a Nazi's are vamp's connection, not that I was seeing.
I think perhaps only that sole Nazi, the one the Master turned after the coffin was completed, is the Vamp among the Nazi's.

Then again, I haven't read the books, so I don't know if there was anything more spelled out regarding the Nazi connection.

And as for the "telekinetic" power only having an effect on the old man, I think it might be a directed power as opposed to something that can be broadcast like some Area of Effect power. He could only truly determine that the old man had intent to attack, while he missed the intent to use the UV bomb from those further away. That would make sense too, as that would be an entirely new tactic his enemies have never presented. Something that can be tossed like a grenade and actually cause him serious harm is likely brand new to him.

I haven't either, just that Nazi's were involved in the show.

uh...it was mostly walking through an empty subway tunnel...

90% slow/boring, 10% action.

Too bad we only get like 30 seconds of the vampire hunters group...

Next week will be the finale.

Anyone else find it more than a bit strange for the old man to keep a "memento" of his wife like that ?

That was lame with the EBS.

The vamp squad finally shows up again.

I think the hacker girl should have a 2600 tattooed on her ass because those are mad skills. LOL

Haven't watch last nights yet, but was wondering what happened to hacker girl in the previous as she was MIA and don't recall anyone mentioning her.

She left because Eph was being mean to her.

And, I don't know why I even both watching this show anymore. If there was anything other than ESPN FC on after Sunday Night Football, I'd have to pass on this one.

Nazis are the perfect villians in our PC age. They did horrible things that can be exaggerated even worse. They're white so there's no racism when used, and most importantly; they're no longer around to complain. There isn't another group on the planet that Hollywood can use as the bad guys so well. I'm surprised they aren't used even more.
