ok, i'm stumped.

who is the goth looking guy with the wig?
He was the singer, one of the first to get infected...makes no sense why the master picked him though, he was nothing special as far as I could tell....
and wtf happened to the master? did he just croak ? did he "transfer" his power with the spew of worms?
Seems that way... no idea how his transfer process works, just that it involves lots of worms.

He picked him because he looked cooler than some middle aged looking Nazi. And from a practical standpoint, why not keep your efficient number 2 around if you dont plan on personally doing all the leg work needed for the master plan.

hmm.. it doesn't work.

i guess it will be revealed later in a great plot twist, but for now, i feel picking the new guy instead of the evil supernazi is both a mistake and a bit of a dick move.

(it was genuinely the most shocking scene in the whole show)

He would never find a better second than the nazi. Bolivar was just a syphilitic, drug addled shell and all the master needed was a shell, so he was really the perfect choice.

I've already explained what the Master is and how he works in previous spoilers for those wondering about his new body.

Side note, still have no idea where the writers are going with the "hacker" chick in the show. She is not in any of the books, and definitely not the love interest of the rat catcher there as it is someone else.

Every episode that has the kid in it, makes me want him to die more and more.

Also, in the middle of a vampire apocalypse, who the fuck stops (let alone gets out of the car) after hitting someone in the middle of the night? If it wasn't a vampire, sorry, collateral damage; you shouldn't be out in the middle of the street at night anyway, asshole.

Oh FFS! I'm so tired of people complaing about Dr.Goodweather's kid. You all sound like a damn kid! For real! He's just a snot nose kid. Stop complaining about him already! Ugh!

haha, you had to know that was going to happen when the Dr chick said "We better go, its getting late." Especially since it was just her and the kid.

So, I'm not allowed to complain about a prominent actor in a TV show? One that happens to be incredibly fucking annoying AND terrible at acting.

How about I stop when you stop with your idiotic whining about shit Windows 10 doesn't even fucking do, like disable your torrented games.

I like the spider kids way better. His vamp mother is well rid of the little bastard. He's like the poster child for every snotty, sullen brat ever on TV.

Book spoiler

I think the show is going a bit overboard with Zack, the kid, being a snotty douche bag this early for a reason. In the books he was perfectly fine until captured by the Master and then made corrupted. What I mean by perfectly fine is that he wasn't a snot nose brat and was a good likable kid. It takes the Master many years and scenes to "break" him into being an asshole and into hating his father. I think the show doesn't want to do all those scenes so the writers are doing this as a shortcut to make it more believable as to why he ends up how he will in the future.

It's the bad acting from the kid that puts it over the top for me.

Joffrey was a much better representation of a hateable kid.

Watched Sunday's esp last night, the only thing that really struck me as corny (corny for this show, ok fuck it, I guess it shouldn't be considered corny for this show either BUT) was when the new vamp hunter.. who isn't damaged by sunlight (were the previous hunters the same.. I think I remember they are.. but how?) was talking to the elders and discussing how he trained the last ones but he'll kill the Master himself DONE AND DONE.

The main vamp hunter working for the Ancients is the son of the Master in a way. In the Books there was a time period in Roman history where he was helping playing the empire as a "second" hand man at the time while he was still growing in power and figuring out who he was. He liked, and still likes, to drain the blood from attractive young females normally. At least according to the book. At one point he was draining a female when he noticed after the connection she was in the very early stages of pregnancy. He hadn't done much more than puncture her when part of the roman army figured out who he was and came to kill him. He takes off running before he gets a chance to kill the girl and the unborn child within her. The child never gets infected by the worms, but is infected by his blood. The pregnancy afford some sort of protection to the mother as well if I remember right that prevents her from turning completely into a vamp. She dies in child birth but the child is part vampire part human. He has no worms. He can withstand limited sunlight although it still pains him. He is stronger than normal humans, but not quite as strong as the master. He is free from the commands of the Ancients and the Master as he has no worms in him that command his flesh.

Just wanted to say, I love the book spoilers. Pls keep them coming.

I agree with your theory on the kid.
I think they're going to deal with the time compression problem by having the kid, at his current age, play the same role as the adult in the book - assuming I've been following your other posts correctly.

Welcome. I may be off on a few details from what I remember from the books but it's pretty darn close. It's been about a year or so since I read them and I've read about 6 dozen or so books since then at least.

Wish I could get into books. I'm more for sophisticated manuals and the like. I would actually sit down and read an aircraft manual for a Boeing 737NG. I did read Inside Delta Force by Eric Haney though. That was interesting. I have some survival books and the like. One of them being about tracking. Like paw prints and such. Even have a SAS handbook. But novels? Nah...

I'm the only member of my family with a bookshelf which is pretty sad. Although my sister reads novels.
