I shower every day. But it wouldn't bother me if someone else didn't, and I don't think daily showers are necessary, as long as that non-daily showerer doesn't stink.

I take 1 a day on average, every 2 (or sometimes 3) days if I'm in a severe time crunch.

I always shower in the morning before work... I just can't wake up and get ready for my day without starting off with a scalding hot shower (though I'll skip it sometimes on the weekends if I'm not leaving my house).

during the summer, I'll shower twice a day since I end up sweating a pretty decent amount and I don't like the idea of sleeping in a pool of my own dried up sweat for 8 hours.

Even on the weekends when there is no work I cant bring myself to skip a night.

The only time I didn't shower consecutive days in recent memory was when I had appointments from basically all of last Thursday to Saturday. My days consisted of going to bed at 2 and waking up at 7 for about 3 days straight. Other than that, I always shower nightly.

I don't work out.. I don't think I've exercised for the sake of exercising for years.. so maybe that is why I don't understand.

to someone else, jagec or something like that, its not about whether or not i can start to smell her. its the fact that shes ok with not cleansing her body of the everyday grime and bacteria that everyone encounters on normal a basis....

if my boyfriend decided he only wanted to shower every other day, i would definitely not like it. having to climb into bed with a person who hasnt bathed in 2 or 3 days sounds disgusting.... im not licking the cheese off your sac! go take a shower!!!

Well, I can't say that this poll surprises me as I used to be in the majority. Now that I live in the desert, I have begun to realize how precious water is, and I only work (with the public) 4 days a week. I make sure I have no offensive odor when I do work, but at the same time showering every day does seem like a waste of water to me.

I'd say it depends on many things like how much sweat you generated. If it's a hot stressful day and you've worked out for 30+ mins, no questions about it. But if you sit in a cool-relaxed environment then just every other day. Oh, and there are millions of bacterria anyways. If you shower too often (lets say 3 times a day lol) you can imbalance the the bacteria % (there is good bacteria and bad too) and that means only the toughest meanest bacteria survives. You should research more about bacteria, there is actually pounds of it in your stomach too, but it's the good kind of gut bacteria that helps digestion. Not all bacteria is the same.

On the other hand washing hands and face often is a good idea as that's the place where most of foreign bacteria comes from.
