Pornography is truly an interesting subject, there is more than meets the eye in lots of cases, especially in regards to respect towards women and soft/hard core pr0n.

I tend to agree with GirlFriday here, and nudity as an art is not pornography. People should not be so quick to judge anything in life, let alone just pictures, people and their actions. Naked? Pornography. Hardly any clothes on? Slut. See a pattern? With this kind of categorisation, how can this world honestly expect to live in a truly free environment? Segregation, especially in the case of non-investigation (coughmediacough) is truly what brings an ignorant society. In regard to women, should they be treated differently AT ALL? IMHO, no. Humans should be treated as equals, with NO exeptions, and regardless of history. Reliance on history as a permanent basis for arguments can lead to dwelling in the past. Segregation can be the steps to the ultimate goal, but they are NOWHERE in the end.

It entirely depends on the viewer's interpretation of the material. Whether you see it as art or not is entirely up to you. That's your opinion and you're entitled to it.

Personally, pornography in my eyes has lead to betrayal of my true beliefs, and betrayal of dedication to the one i love, well in my case at least. So what do I do? Abstain from porn entirely. It can be very hard but it is possible. Usage of women, as it IS in many cases of pornography, can really challenge a person's public belief of 'not using women'. What good is it to have someone say they dont use women/treat them as objects, when they get home and beat off over a woman in a magazine, especially if they're holding up a relationship with someone they 'truly care for'

BTW, i'm male and 16 years old
