The Playboy Channel is now showing hardcore

It will never end, because money talks. I am just happy my sattelite company scrambles those channels. Without my password, my kids are not able to get to them. 
well gf, im glad to here some people have values, sure i don't mind porn, but you know what, if it wasnt for my cousin whos father has no values, I'd be a much more decent person now, and i defitily know of a few things in my life that wouldn't have happened, that i wish hadn't happened and becauseo f their having happened, i'm going to try hard to raise any kids i might have with better friends, and try to not let them fall into such problems. uh just my .02

I have no problem with porn, that is unless parents are not given measures to make sure their kids are not doing the old sneak a peek at 4 am when moms in bed asleep. It just disappoints me that Playboy, who I always felt at least kept the women looking beautiful, and kind of respectfully photographed, felt the need to go into this kind of business. It's not like they need the money.

Playboy is following the same path as their consumers. Rather than let their consumers move on to harder porn, they're trying to keep their business by turning up the intensity.
Sad, if you ask me. Playboy was the one "porn" magazine that I could appreciate.

I agree with ArkAoss's attitude.
I love to look at porn, but I would sacrifice it in the name of humanity if I had the choice to have it removed.
I have never acted out inappropriately with a non-consenting partner, so I don't believe my viewing has had much negative impact.
I wish I could believe that it doesn't have a negative impact on everyone else. I think there are enough individuals out there that are on the edge, and unstable emotionally, that can be pushed over with certain stimuli, and I consider porn to be a substantial stimuli. (I know how it gets my motors running)
Sidenote;
I remember when they were interviewing Ted Bundy before his execution, and he ws giving his "hypothetical" confessions, he said some things along the lines of pornography. The so-called experts discounted his obsession. When I worked at the University of Utah Bookstore, one thing that stood out in my mind was the long timers telling me about this guy that came in everday to the bookstore and hung out at the magazine rack looking at the Playboys. It was Ted Bundy. His behavior was deviant then, and it apparently controlled him in a way that distinguished him to the workers there.

Think of it this way...it's art. You know some of the moves that they have requires a lot of training and guidance.

GF - its not "cool" to be a loving husband and good father these days. It seems to carry a whipped or wussy baggage with it to most guys. That or they all warn me that "it won't last"... I dunno, 6 years together and there is no one I'd rather look at or be with.
That and not liking porn makes me the 'single biggest loser in the world' according to much of society!
