<< It just disappoints me that Playboy, who I always felt at least kept the women looking beautiful, and kind of respectfully photographed, felt the need to go into this kind of business. It's not like they need the money. >>

They do need the money. Sales of magazines have gone tremendously down, while their website has gone way up. The internet is both hurting them and helping them, but hurting them more. They even declined their IPO a few months back because of this.

And just how exactly is showing a sexual act degrading/un-beautiful or disrespectfull to women?

"And just how exactly is showing a sexual act degrading/un-beautiful or disrespectfull to women? "

rahvin, I've always felt that Playboy has been the only true "Gentlemens" magazine in the Porn industry. Almost all of their pictorials have artistic taste to them, and rarely have the women posing in positions that allow you to see their kidneys.

And, if I'm not mistaken, Playboy doesn't hold a gun to a womans head telling them that they have to do the shoot. Nudity is not a "dirty" and "disrespectful" thing if it is done tastefully. I feel that the Playboy Magazine has held up to those standards.

Why is nudity disrespectful if it's not done tastefully? Why is seeing the genitalia up close and personal somehow dirty and disrespectfull? How does this harm women?

THIS SUCKS!

If I wanted sleasy hardcore I'd watch public TV during weekend nights (not kidding you :p) or download some crap from the net.....

I liked playboy becuase they kept the stuff fairly clean, that left something to the imagination. the girls look awesome and we don't have to watch some fat sweaty guy's dick, that's what I liked about it.....now it's going slutty. bah.

oh well I'll learn to appreciate it something hehe :p

I never said it was degrading or disrespectful to the women who posed. As long as they are consenting adults, I don't care if they swing naked from trees. I do like the fact that Playboy photographed women in a nice sense to look at. I would prefer seeing a beautiful woman laying on the beach naked than some bimbo laying on a car with her knees behind her ears. And that is my opinion on the subject, like it or not. I am sure many of you would disagree with me.... ;)

And I have to say, Playboy DOESN'T equal pornography. Nude pictures do not constitute pornography.

Pictures of me as a baby are not pornography, R movies with some nudity are not pornography. There's a big difference here.

do you have any links?

could someone pass the Cheetos?

btw, these hardcore flicks are only being shown on Saturday nights for the time being. Labeled as "Director's Cuts".

They are still showing the standard Playboy fare the rest of the time, 24/7.

For some odd reason I seem to lose interest after about 10 minutes of watching porn. :)
