It saves automatically so if you quit you just start at the last checkpoint. Checkpoints are fairly available I'd say there are some every 15-20 minutes.

Edit: Usually every time there is a cutscene it saves afterwards and you can't skip cutscenes.

okay cool. if that is the case i'm going to try and make some time to at least check it out tonight even if it's for only 30 minutes.

got to chapter 4 and turned it off. started out pretty boring/slow, but damn it picked up at chapter 3. game is pretty awesome and holy crap, the graphics are incredible. the only thing i've noticed that doesn't seem that great are some of the smoke/particle effects, like when someone busts through a door and dust kicks up. oh, and there are no reflections in mirrors or windows and stuff.

that's just being picky, damn the graphics are great. no clue how someone finished it in 5 hours either. i've played like 2.25 hours and am at the start of chapter 4, and i'm not really taking my time or anything either.

I'm pretty sure it took me longer than 7 hours to finish. I did get all the newspapers too. I actually walked around, admired the scenery, tried looking in every area for collectibles. It gets better if you think chapter 3 was intense.

yeah i started out walking around, but after not really seeing anything extra in the extra space, i am not doing that anymore. i don't really care about the newspaper things, although the first time you can "inspect" them it was kinda neat. now it's kinda blah. same with inspecting the weapons.

oh also, chapter 2 was 100% pointless to have any interaction. all you literally control is walking between cutscenes. just dumb. i guess maybe there are newspapers there too and i might have gotten one, but meh, pointless imo. thankfully it was extremely short.

The game does that sometimes, there are some chapters where it is only cutscenes. But I could only count 2. The weapons are neat as you progress. I liked that you were kind of forced to change them depending on the enemies you face. As long as they make the game more dynamic for the sequel, it should be better. Less cutscenes, longer levels.

yeah so far, the weapons are badass. even the normal rifles are awesome. they pack a lot of punch and the sound of the weapons is awesome. i'm really enjoying the gunfights in general.

New games typically start their TIV at $40, if they're $60 releases. I think Dying Light is still $33 at Best Buy, but I wouldn't be surprised if he meant GameStop, which just dropped Dying Light to $25 today.

Yea but this Saturday I checked best buy and it was $25 for the order and previously it used to be $30. Not sure if I ever saw it at $40 because when I bought it, few days later it wasn't listed but turns out the search query had to be "order" not the order for it to show its value on the best buy site.

Just got to chapter 10. No clue how someone beat this game in 5 hours. This game is incredible. Best single player game by far this gen. Graphics are unbelievable in this game too.

I think you have 6 more chapters to go. I was playing on hard and some areas took a while to get through. Even if you did it on easy, I'd still imagine it would take you longer than 5 hours.

Wow just finished it ... Incredible game I hope these guys make another game. I feel like this game kind of had that emotional tie like the last of us, especially the second half. I think part of it is cause the sound and acting is incredible like a real movie. I wish it didn't end.

The last boss was awesome I loved that whole final chapter. Watching the credits now and the music is awesome too.

Man I can't imagine how good uncharted 4 is going to look...

Edit:

Oh snap maybe it's not over!

Edit 2:

Yeah it is, and looks like we may be seeing another one!

There will be a sequel I'm sure. I also felt the same way towards the end. It was a bit weird that the last fight was similar to the first boss fight but oh well. I really felt like they could have made the game a bit longer.

Too bad uncharted got delayed until spring 2016 but we can hope it looks good if the order looks this good now.

ugh i just bought this game used for $32 and feel like I over paid. the controls are horrible.

does it just start slow or is it not for me?

definitely starts slow. chapter 4 is i think when it starts to pick up. i felt pretty bored after my first session with the game that i stopped right at the beginning of chapter 4.

no clue what you mean about the controls. the controls were great to me and are tight. it just took a little bit to get used to since i don't play these kind of games on dual shock controllers, they are usually on the xbox controllers. i was getting confused as to which is 1st and 2nd bumpers when I saw the cues on screen. just used to the "R" button being the trigger on xbox controllers, but the R2 is the trigger on dual shocks.

Controls felt fine to me too. I got my x1 controls mixed up because I played the ps4 for the longest time.

The beginning is slow and confusing but if you pay attention and that's not hard to do with this game, then it picks up after chapter 3-4.

ok just beat it, got the hang of the controls after a little while

overall a pretty mediocre game IMO, the story is pretty incoherent and the walk around and inspect things was pretty annoying. The AI is pretty dumb other than the fight at the end where they swarm you. But yea I'd say great graphics
