Well looks like Titanfall will be 100% fail in Australia and New Zealand. Minimum 120ms for AU and 220ms for NZ as there will be no local servers for us. Closest will be Singapore which is unplayable for an fps.
I bet they wont lable the game with any information in AU/NZ they will probably still sell heaps even though being MP only its effectively pointless here.

Let's be perfectly honest here, you can play the game with 120-220ms. It might not be super competitive, but it is certainly playable.
If my ping was anywhere close to that I wouldn't touch the game. Not even worth bothering IMO.
Sure the game will connect and let you move but you would be wasting space on the team.
I guess you are not old enough to have player FPS online with a dial-up or early BB?
Trade in PS3 / old 360 and get $100 off XB1:

What is microsoft going to do with all these ps3s? I'm sure they aren't in the business of reselling used hardware?
Looks like to get the maximum value you have to purchase the x1 at the same time you trade-in the ps3. Since I already own the x1, I would only do this if I could get $100 store credit toward x1 games/accessories.
A new model PS3 (500GB super slim) is $100 trade in at GameStop. If this is for all PS3s, it isn't a horrible deal. Otherwise, lukewarm. A 250GB slim in good condition is $75 at BestBuy; I couldn't find the newest model, so maybe this is a decent deal.
sounds like a neutral plan honestly. $100.00 for what is essentially a bluray player/ROKU....is a pretty meh' deal.

Just makes it easy to get $100 off and buy on the spot. Never said it was some sweet deal.
well, the ad implies it is a sweet deal. but i dont think anyone in consumer base is taking it as such except maybe kids with a ps3/360 who can now use this to pester mom n dad on upgrading. so without any research, they may fall for the meh deal
Regarding PING, keep in mind that games (I hope current ones do this) use algorithms to predict player locations. This helped alleviate some of the 100 ms pings. Sure 10 ms is better ,but games should be doing predictive positioning to reduce the likelihood of issues.
