Waiting for hipsters to like the X1 bc they go against the grain. I kid though, it seems i have to defend my decision of what console im getting now.

As long as you are using your own hard earned money to buy it, you don't have to defend anything.

That isn't the launch line-up (neither is the PS4 list) -- that's every title that's been announced to come out over then next couple of years.

For example Titanfall is currently slated for Fall 2014, but dates could slip.

I turned off forever to that version the first time I heard in person how they fucked up the ultra combo voice. Seriously were they that stretched for the extra 1k of SPC700 BRR samples for the game's most memorable and defining trait in that single audio clip that they had to do that? UUGGHH!

Or, presumably, if you don't live in one of the 21 countries that will be getting the Xbox One. Or if you will be traveling long-term to a non-Xbox One-compatible country and wish to bring your console with you.

Sad n64 was SO crippled by texture cache and cart space KI Gold might as well been a SNES game too. Its one of the few games I have that RGB on my Sony PVM CRT makes look WORSE.

personally i don't. ps3 didn't sell for much more on ebay because everyone who bought em just wanted to resell em, no one really wanted the console. i ended up returning the 2 i bought lol.

i did make about $3200 on 360's though. i sold my first one for $1800 with free overnight shipping. buncha idiots.

i made some money on wii's too but nowhere NEAR that much on 360.

wii-u's sold for a bit more but not as ridiculous as the 360 did.

with the ebay fees and crap now a days i'm personally not gonna bother trying to resell stuff.

I have a ps4 on preorder from amazon and thinking I might just flip it on ebay, and pick up a nice headset and a few games for the X1. Thats if i make a profit on the Ps4 and the way the internet has been since sonys announcement i foresee a shortage.

lol i need to watch that later. i saw the short clip of him saying it but not the full interview. he sounds like such a pretentious dick when he says it too.

as far as the country thing, i find it amusing that the sony camp (even on this forum) keep posting that image comparing what countries can play ps4 vs x1, and using it as "ammunition" in their war. i mean let's be realistic - 99% of the people on this forum are in north america lol. but i guess it's a "win" for sony camp that they can in theory play cod on ps4 with starving kids in africa but can't do that on x1.

based on the reactions after e3, i'd definitely think there is a higher chance of ps4 shortages than x1 shortages, and more demand for ps4 for sure.

If you dont conenct to the internet for 25 hours; is the box "Bricked'? Or is it just a long and painful re-register process?
Of which you only have 3 LOL...

Yes, the real win is that the PS4 is not region locked, so you'll be able to import games. Assuming they have English subtitles, or you speak Japanese (which I don't).

No, they wouldn't do anything like that. I'm sure once it detects an internet connection it will reconnect and then continue working as usual.

Although I think Microsoft's approach to this system has been incredibly anti-consumer, I agree with this 100%.

The only concern I really have is the internet thing. I usually have internet, but I live in a house with older wires and every once in a while (2 times in the last year) a splice would go bad and they would have to come out and fix it. I would usually be about 3 days without internet while I waited for a guy to show up. All the other "restrictions" don't worry me at all. The way I look at it, they are basically giving us a digital console, but are giving people like me that don't have the fastest internet a way to get the game right away. Now I can go pick up the disc and install it, and then it is treated like a digital copy from that point on.

PS4 pre-orders for launch day are sold out on amazon. Xbox one still available.

Another point is that the developers of The Witcher 3 won't be able to play their own game in their homeland (Poland).

Nor will anyone in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Portugal, all other Eastern European countries, anywhere in the Middle East, anywhere in Africa (even South Africa and Egypt), India, anywhere in Asia...

It's not just inconvenient to people who want to play "with starving kids in Africa," it's inconvenient for a very large chunk of the developed world. But I guess MS doesn't want or need business from the people of Poland, or Jamaica, or the Philippines, or the UAE, or Argentina, or Thailand, or...
