Did they say the one can is dlna capable? Ps4 will be getting that in one of the major firmware updates. As well as mp3 support I think. Boogie on YouTube talked about this.
The XB1 is capable. As far as the PS4, it may get it but Sony hasn't committed to it. The most we have gotten from them on the subject is that they are looking into it. In fact, if Sony does add it in then it will set a new precedent, because in my experience with the PS3 is that they are more apt to remove functionality after the fact that add any in. This is from the official FAQ:
Will PS4 support media servers or DLNA support in order to stream videos or movies from a home PC?
The PS4 system does not support client functionality* for media servers.

My comments were more directed at all those people who for the past 18 months did nothing but talk about how awesome the PS4 will be because it was focused purely on gaming and wouldn't do much else. They got what they wanted but it appears the majority of gamers didn't share that sentiment and it caught Sony off guard. MS took all kinds of crap from the community for trying to do all these things but now they appear to have been more in step with the gaming community as a whole.
I think Sony will eventually put DLNA in, but I don't think they should get a pass for not doing it in the first place, especially considering it was supported in the PS3.
I'm saying this in the XB1 forum so I'm sure it will come off as fanboyish, but I've said the same thing in the PS4 forum. Don't get me wrong, I don't think the XB1 is all that impressive either.
