can you steam from the xbox to online? like for streamcasting? what about recording videos that you can upload directly to something like youtube?

Essentially. It changed the overlay/guide as well. They havent talked about whether you directly connect your coax

they would have to put a cable card turner or full digi tuner in it and that would cost some serious $$$$

i imagin the HDMI in just acts as a pass through so it can overlay the interface on the singal from your cbl box

I don't think it's any different than what the 360 does with Comcast, but you aren't so segmented. Right now, you have to load a separate app, and it takes awhile. This thing seems to just swap to TV. My guess is that you setup your TV settings in the console settings.

i'm not sure how comcast works.

but if i can use the xbox1 in my ht and watch fios with it, and not have to use an additional fios set top box, then that is FUCKING SWEET!! that will save me a monthly rental fee, and since i don't watch tv down there much at all other than sports, this will be extremely convenient.

now if that is the case ... totally worthless.

i like the idea of a halo show simply because i really like the story and the world bungie created. HOWEVER i think it will fail as a live action show. it NEEDS to be animated to work. so much more freedom with animation

I have used my Xbox 360 with FIOS with no additional charge or rental fees. Just need atleast one Settop box in the house. I use UVerse now though but i still use my 360 as a set top box

My guess is that it will be IPTV, so possibly. It has no PVR features though, but it appears to have VOD support.
