Is there a legal space for feds to push for a national mail in mandate? Get over this stupid archaic process of waiting in line for hours, having to take time out of work, deal with gun toting thugs trying to intimidate you. Ect.

If Dems sweep House/Senate/WH I think this needs to go up to the top of the list. Forget national voting holiday. That's not even necessary. Just freaking figure out a mail in system. I don't wait in line for hours to submit my taxes FFS.

"
Texas poll watcher Raymond T. Stewart, a retired police officer, submitted a sworn affidavit Thursday that was provided to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. That affidavit, exclusively obtained by NATIONAL FILE, alleges that a Houston precinct judge and staff illegally used a stack of driver’s licenses in their possession to allow people to vote illegally in the 2020 election at a drive-through voting window created by the Coronavirus pandemic. Stewart’s affidavit and photos of the scheme are presented below. The acting precinct judge’s identity has been confirmed by the Harris County Clerk’s Office and insiders identify her as a Democrat.
Harris County, where Houston is located, is also the site where the Joe Biden campaign’s Texas political director Dallas Jones is accused of running an illegal ballot harvesting operation, according to two separate affidavits submitted to the Texas Supreme Court by former law enforcement officials. "
  • Overall, we rate National File an extreme right Tin-Foil Hat Conspiracy website based on the promotion of unproven/debunked claims and a Strong Pseudoscience purveyor based on using junk science to support claims.
Have some respect. At least for yourself if no one else.

The Nevada GOP and Sheldon Adelson have just sued Clark County (Las Vegas) and asked for a restraining order to stop processing mail-in ballots. NVGOP is getting shellacked in the state by mail-in votes and this is their umpteenth attempt to litigate (they've lost all prior attempts). The alleged violation this time? Clark County isn't allowing the NVGOP to intimidate voters and poll workers, I mean, "properly observe" voters and poll workers and the NVGOP hasn't been able to install their own cameras in all facilities to maintain remote surveillance, I mean "observation" over the proceedings.
And it only took about 6 hours for the NVGOP to lose again, this time their request for TRO being rejected. Arguments on the facts are scheduled for next week, at which point it will essentially be too late.

Definitely, though I feel we need a lot more protections for the USPS and it's mission. Man I hope the Dems can take White House and Senate. They need to secure the USPS in ways that confound the org being run by a saboteur. Critical functions like security need to insulated from disruption.

I still think we need an election day holiday though. If you satisfy the legal requirements to vote, there should be no excuses or barriers, up to the very last minute of voting. Intimidation and open display of weapons at voting locations should be incredibly illegal, permanently, for the entire country.

Joe Biden brags about having “the most extensive and inclusive VOTER FRAUD organization in the history of American politics”

"Democratic Presidential Nominee Joe Biden recently bragged that Democrats have created the “most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.”
“We’re in a situation where we have put together, and you guys did it for our administration…President Obama’s administration before this. We have put together, I think, the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics,” he said."

"Biden’s bizarre comments quickly spread on social media Saturday, with many claiming Biden was admitting to voter fraud.
“What a terrible thing for Biden to say!” President Donald Trump posted on Instagram. “Rigged election?”
White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany shared the clip on Twitter, saying “BIDEN ADMITS TO VOTER FRAUD!”
“@JoeBiden brags about having the ‘most extensive VOTER FRAUD organization’ in history,” she wrote."

HAHAHAHAHAHA ! Got to love the senile old shithole with a penchant for confessing to his misdeeds.

I'd give you the coverage from THE NEW YORK TIMES, but i couldn't find it. lol

You do know Trump put together a "Voter Fraud Commission" because he was pissed Hillary beat him in the popular vote in 2016.

Imagine that, Trump put together commission to invent ways to commit fraud in 2020.

Every time you speak you show your ignorance.

This was an interesting read from today’s WSJ:

“Armed militia groups like the Oath Keepers have pledged to monitor polling places in presidential battleground states like Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Carolina. A private security firm that was recruiting ex-special forces operatives as shadow poll watchers is being sued by a voter-rights group in Minnesota.

Democrats are also planning to field a robust poll-watching effort, with the goal of ensuring voter participation, amid an atmosphere rife with tension across the country.

“The question is, are you going to have people who are self-appointed security people who just show up to these places with guns?” said Tom Manger, a retired police chief of Montgomery County, Md. “That is just a nightmare for police to handle.”

Two armed security guards showed up last Wednesday at an early-voting location in St. Petersburg, Fla., according to election officials, sparking concerns in the tightly contested state.

The New York Police Department said Tuesday it would beef up its presence at the polls to prevent any potential disruptions. NYPD officials said the department is mandated by state law to have an officer or officers stationed at every polling place. New York police are allowed to be inside election locations in uniform.”

Welp, found some fraud.

The Maine Attorney General’s Office has filed criminal charges against a 19-year-old woman who allegedly signed and voted a former roommate’s ballot as her own, a type of case that state officials described as extremely rare.

Local election officials in Orono discovered the potential violation before the ballot was processed. A spokesman for the AG’s office said it appears that election tampering was not the motive.

“It appears that the motive behind the crime was a personal dispute between former roommates, rather than an effort to influence the outcome of the election,” Marc Malon wrote in an email.

The complaint says Alyssa Dau of Orono is charged with two felonies: voting in the name of another and forging the name of another on an absentee ballot return envelope. Those charges, which are class-C felonies, are punishable by up to five years incarceration and a $5,000 fine. Dau allegedly voted using a ballot issued for Evangelia Suleiman.

Both the woman charged and the victim are students at the University of Maine.

Suleiman began posting on social media after her former roommate was charged Tuesday. Suleiman, who posts extensively about politics, wrote in support of former Vice President Joe Biden, while Dau appeared to be a supporter of President Trump and posted a “Women for Trump” sign on her door in the apartment they shared.

“I’m a biden supporter, and because she put up trump related décor, I believe she is a trump supporter,” Suleiman wrote Tuesday evening, after the story about the stolen vote began pinging across the country. “I KNOW voter fraud is not a really big thing and it’s rare. I understand that it’s often used as a right wing fear tactic. It still happened.”

She added in another post: “The irony is she’s a trump supporter and they’re the ones who complain about voter fraud the most,” Suleiman wrote.

Add it....TO THE LIST!

Texas supreme court upholds voter suppression
Maybe that explains an unbelievable statistic. Texas is like 49 or 50 in voter participation. Only Republicans need apply I guess.

It's nice when life so clearly identifies the "bad guy."

When one party's election strategy is "suppress voting" it makes it fairly straightforward for history to label the villain.

Interesting, in WI it was decided that only the legislature can change voting rules.

You see the ruling was actually, "If it helps the republicans, it's good. If it hurts the republicans, it's bad."

Seems that way. When you're used to having your way, anyone else getting a say seems like madness
