So I just saw a stat that early voting totals in TX are now damn near what the entire vote count was for 2016.

So even though they are trying to suppress the vote in TX, I think the suppressed are saying a HUGE "fuck you."

"The raw total of votes cast through Monday was 7.8 million, 1.2 million more than the 6.6 million who cast ballots early in all of 2016 and 87% of the total number of votes cast in the state during the last presidential election."

Today, Texas will surpass 90% of 2016 vote totals 6 days BEFORE the election.

Texas will be approx. 94% of 2016 at the end of today. We started the day slightly under 91%.

that is indeed disturbing. We are hanging our collective hats on PA.
It’s because PA’s early voting if weird. You can only vote in person early if you have a mail in or absentee ballot. The other weird thing is most counties in PA outside of major cities do not plan to start counting any of these early votes until the morning of November 3. PA is going to be bonkers on. November 3.

She recused but the vote was 5-3 so it didn't matter

and unlike you. Your support of Trump disqualifies you from making ethics evaluations about anyone.

She could be involved later on, since she just didn't participate. This is just declining to fast track a decision. Alito said the Republicans have the option to revisit and are poised to give it to Trump if it makes a difference. PA is going to be segregating those late arriving ballots.

Since people already in line who haven't voted past 8pm are not segregated what sense does this make?

State law specifies that mail in ballots must be received prior to that time on election day. W/O the extension from the PA SCOTUS they wouldn't count anyway. Hopefully Biden will have enough of a lead from votes delivered by that time to render the counting moot. The threat to change the rules after the fact to favor the GOP is remarkable in a very bad way.

Some good old intimidation tactics here.

Tried and true Republican voter intimidation tactic. Republicans signed a consent decree that prohibited them from doing this, back in '82, which conveniently wasn't renewed in 2018.

Back them it was the Ballot Security Task Force.

Glad they chose MN to show their colors and fuckery. It is so in the bag for Biden there. Far better there than where it might make a difference.

That may be, but the intent is clearly there.

Wonder how much better people would behave if we all openly wore bodycams...

I think the silly bastards believe they'll find nefarious goings-on. Well, that's if any of them show up at all.

Is it me or is the supreme court all over the place with ballot rulings? NC can count ballots postmarked on election day and received up to 9 days after election
