I'm about to finish up the campaign in Shadow Fall, so far its been.... mixed at best.
The direction in the game can be non existent in certain chapters, leading me to believe they did this intentionally to make the game seem longer than it really is. Graphically however, man it looks good. It easily rivals a high end gaming PC in my opinion.

There are a few glitches / nuances that really take away from the experience:

1) If you melee attack a glass texture (the ones that don't break), it still makes the breaking glass sound.
2) If you melee attack a dead enemy, anywhere, blood squirts out like an artery is exploding. Literally, anywhere. I attack their face, massive blood squirt, I attack their helmet, massive blood squirt. How about their pinky toe? Massive blood squirt.
3) Echo in general. Shes a ninja assassin? No, she's a sniper. She hates Lucas? No, she wants to marry him? C'mon now Guerrilla....
4) The sense of direction can be non existent.
5) The zipline... why can't I use it in more places? Like I dunno... anywhere with a ledge?
6) Finally, the story. It's very cliche and typical from today's run and gun FPS games. I was hoping Guerrilla would take the proper road and make the game and EPIC war game like it should be from day one.

I'm nit picking, but if these things weren't an issue, the game would be damn near perfect.
 
This weekend I will see what kind of deal I can find on knack and ryse. I want to play both but neither of them for more than $40

Funny because purrbeast was looking to trade someone knack for ryse. I'm also l poking around on eBay. That way I may be able to get both knack and nba because like you I don't want to pay more than 40 for knack, and the sports game, I bet as soon as I buy it, it will drop.

Yeah I can't say anything bad about it, well I can but it's more me than the game. There are too many fouls against my team. I'd like a way to turn fouls off because sometimes you cannot even tell what you were doing to draw the call.
 
Just checked with my local gamestop and their trade in for Killzone is $25 bucks. Looks like I'll keep it then and wait until nba drops price unless I can get something better on eBay.
 
left my ps4 on standby, hopefully the update will be downloaded, i'm a little paranoid about my system getting bricked though, hopefully there were no power outages at my place today

The trade in value at Best Buy is $40. I just traded yesterday then used the gift card they gave me + $10 to buy a $50 Amazon GC.

I buy gas anyway. However when I say 30min it's not as far as it sounds. in south FL, the wrong traffic pattern can cause you go get 10 miles in 30min lol.
 
There are no best buy stores where you work? I checked online and the store I live near says online they take trade ins, so it seems that they will give you $40 for Killzone. So that's pretty good, I'll have to buy 2k14 new though, but for $20 plus tax that's not bad.
 
I could trade in killzone and assassin's creed 4 for $40 each and get knack and ryse for $20 each plus tax. Worth it you think?

Just found out the best buy 5min from me started doing trade-in.

I would call them and make sure they do take trade ins. I hope what price they say it's worth online is not different in the store. I'm going to call the one by my house today and see what they say.

AC can be a long game for me since I tend to take my time in a game like that. But yeah Killzone is a definite trade in for me.

I hear Ryse is only like 8hrs so I'm not sure about it, it does look good and you could probably trade it back in once you finish for whatever they give you.

I should have brought killzone with me to work today because there is a best buy 10 minutes away but I didn't think about it when I left my house.
 
Ryse and Knack have both been named for ScrewAttack's SAGY Awards. From what I've heard from the Xbone crowd, Ryse looks good, but isn't that great.

Tomb Raider is getting a next gen release next month for folks who haven't played it yet.
 
everyone i know who has played ryse (which is about 6-7 people) say it is completely badass and is an extremely awesome game. definitely short and repetitive, but they did not bother any of them and they said it's just an awesome 8 hour ride.

what does SAGY stand for?
