Since I have kinect I have no need for the sony camera tbh. I am not going to setup weekly streams and get followers nor would I care to. I may use it to post videos with dual screen picture where I talk to my friend about a game while showing it at the same time, certain voice commands, and to auto-log in. Other than that I dont find it particularly interesting.

finally got around to finishing knack. last boss was not fun. overall though the game was enjoyable but forgettable. i'll probably never put it back in my ps4 but it was a fun run. definitely nothing special but it definitely also screams launch title. definitely has a "hi-res ps3" look to it with nothing special in gameplay. there are some very questionable/dumb design decisions but they weren't bothersome to actually enjoying the game. it is an overall solid but forgettable platformer.

I'm thinking about picking it up when it's cheaper. Seems like on eBay it's going for $30-40 bucks. I do want to play it though like you said it's one of those finish and don't play again games.

Yeah the final boss was obnoxious. I died a few times trying to beat him.

Did you finish a lot of the gadgets or whatever they were (where you had to gather parts)? I think I only finished one of them.

I liked the game a bit more than you I think and will probably play through it again at some point.

i finished with 3 gadgets and then had 2 parts missing from 2 others, and 1 missing from the others. i didn't get find all of the crystals for any of them though. im guessing on the 2nd play through that all of the secret spots will be there, and the ones that had gadget parts in them will have crystals.

Yeah that makes sense. I am very close on a few of them so if/when I fire this back up I guess they will all come together.

FIFA has taken all of my game time these days. Such an awesome game.

I made it part way through a second play through. I found all of the gadgets and collected enough rubys to unlock Vampire Knack. I started a new game as Vampire Knack and it was really really hard even on easy. I think I'm done playing for quite a while. I will probably toss it on the storage rack for a year or two, pull it back out and see if it still holds up.

think i'm done with killzone too. i just got to chapter 4 and this game is just flat out not fun. it's just really boring to me and feels extremely generic and mediocore. the game has no personality. the deep gargled voice of the helghast do nothing to me, and the way they shine the light in your face and gurgle at me is getting on my nerves lol. the sound of the game is weak too, there is no punch to the gun fire. it just does nothing for me.

i also mentioned a while back i was having controller drop out issues, but i think it is something specific to killzone. i played knack earlier for over an hour and finished it and had no control issues, and don't think or know if i have before. then i was having them again in killzone just now, and it only happens when i'm in the middle of a fire fight. it's extremely annoying and i have no clue if it's part of the game or something is just up with my controller.

Hmm odd, I'm on chapter 5 ok KZ and my controller has not cut out once. Maybe it's the controller itself? I do charge mine once every other day or so. Not sure that they last so long.

this time it happened, my controller was plugged in and charging while this happened. makes it even odder, although i think even when it's charging, it is still using it as a wireless controller. it is just odd that it is happening during firefights and like not at other times.

After the lame single player I'm not even really interesting in the multi player. I'm really struggling to finish the main campaign, it just doesn't make me want to play it at all other than the graphics but even then the beginning environments are the only ones to make you go wow, the rest of the levels all suck.

It is really. The only reason I even played through it on PC was you have to in order to unlock some of the weapons.

I haven't even started the single player in bf4. I've been playing online with it a lot. I might have to finish killzone despite dying a million times I just want to see what goes on next in the story.

Cod and bf4 won't take me long. And I have not started AC black flag either. I played the intro a few weeks back but that's all.

Yup...another generic FPS. Would not have picked it up had it not been a launch title and exclusive :c. Its pretty and all and shows off the system, but like most console shooters, its nothing a PC gamer hasn't seen in the 90s in terms of gameplay.

Best gunfire I've ever heard in a game is...not surprisingly... The Last of Us. The hunting rifles hurt my ears and made me head shy, and was worse the closer you were to the person firing at you. If you were near the muzzle when it went off it was painful and flinch inducing like a real rifle without hearing protection. The boom, the crack, everything. I could seriously feel the pressure and concussion from the muzzle blast like a real gun ringing my ears the closer the muzzle was to my head. Just amazing. Being shot at with hunting rifles in that game was just damn scary.

Just hope I didn't damage my sound system.

yeah the sound in the last of us was incredible. i gotta say so was the sound in tomb raider. that is the kind of sound i expected from killzone but it's not even close. no punch at all to the weapons, not even the shotgun type weapon.

i haven't played much bf4 sp since it tends to crash a lot for me and my saves have been erased too many times already

Killzone is alright...it looks gorgeous at least, best graphics on PS4.

Its just that its yet another generic Halo type linear console shooter really, that's all.

Everyone, Killzone's campaign is not that great. It is pretty and has some fun set pieces. That's it. Multiplayer is considerably better and, IMO, offers one of the better FPS MP experiences around. It's got a good bit of depth that takes some time to learn and appreciate as well, but think TF2 + CoD and you'll sort of get an idea of what it can be like. To not at least give it a few hours chance is a bit unfair. Do not judge it based on SP.

Also, purbeast0, I think your controller or PS4 is having issues. Can't say I have experienced those issues with KZ and my controller.
