I just played Assassin's Creed 4 streaming from the PS4 to Vita and it played with very minimal lag. I'm on the same wifi network though, I'll try it out on from far away tomorrow.

You are talking 80 mbps constant to stream 50 GB in 90 minutes.

Sounds right. Blue Ray dual layer holds something like 8.5 GB. The breakdown into 80 MB/s makes sense.

But, if you are watchmaking on a low quality system I doubt you would care. I've "found" 2 GB size files for movies in 1080p and it blows Netflix away. If netflix could do about 20 mbps Idoable on my landline), I doubt people would notice.

Dual layer BD is 50 GB. DVD is 8.5 GB.

50,000 MB / ( 90 minutes * 60 seconds per minute )* 8 bits per byte = 74 mbps.

You can always download "demos" of 1080p from "various websites" and realize that if those 2 GB downloads can come to you in under 90 minutes, then what Netflix provides should be nearly as good.

DVD < netflix < BD

Having said that .... movies like Terminator 2 on Netflix are not better than DVD. I have the DVD .... it sis far superior on DVD where I live. But I don't know what exactly netlflix is supplying me.

So people are making their own "shows". They have the camera setup and launch Playroom and then host their show hahhah. It ranges from totally random talk to gaming stuff. One show had a raffle for their old PS3 and other stuff too. The other day some dude and his wife just had it on while watching tv and drinking. Fast forward, the wife passes out and the dude takes her tits out for the camera lmao, but it gets better....a few mins later he stripes his passed out wife and she is butt naked on twitch hahahah

This shit has gotten hilarious. These people putting the show on put up their phone number for people to call in and shit. One guy was showing off is new Xbox One and was playing Forza, he was in the middle of some tournament/circuit thing talking about the game and taking calls, he takes a call, puts the down on speaker, the dude goes nice loud and clear, XBOX, TURN OFF and boom! I have no idea if it was staged or not but it was gold Jerry, gold I tell ya!

So, I was playing some Resogun earlier, and I got rather close to a "perfect level" on the first planet. I got all humans, didn't die and kept my multiplier up the whole time (ended at about 14.96). Unfortunately, I think I used two bombs during the stage. :\ All in all, that netted me about 15 million points... not too shabby! I'm finding that the Ferox (middle) ship is the only good one. The quick one is just too weak on bosses and the slow one is... well, just too slow, but it's strong as hell.

I can answer this. And yeah. They will get banned for sure. Twitch doesn't play around with stupidity, if you do that stuff they will ban you by IP and you'll never be able to stream again. As far as creative workarounds to IP, it has been tried and for the most part twitch is aggressive about ensuring idiots stay banned and cannot return.

I decided to be a good big brother over the weekend and traded my PS4 for an iPad and a smart phone (which my little brother was getting ready to sell to pay for one). In doing that I got to play Resogun and Contrast while I was downloading/prepping games for him on my fast connection.

Initial impressions were that Resogun is AWESOME. Such a fun and rewarding game to jump into. I had to force myself to stop playing so that I could try Contrast - which was more of a slow burn but had its moments. It was a little rough in spots, and the controls weren't as tight as you'd want for a platformer, but I look forward to finishing the other half of the game when I get a chance to play PS4 again. The puppet show was, so far, the bright spot in that game.

Haven't been following the thread so I don't know if this has been mentioned but Amazon has some of the PS4 games on sale for $49.99. If you got in on the B2G1 deal from Amazon you can e-mail/chat/call and ask for a price match.

I e-mailed them and got $20 back, so that was awesome

I've watched some, I didn't see the the actual tits/strip one myself but read about it from a few spots. I have watched a show or two when getting ready to go to sleep and some of the people are funny and some just talk about games and actually know their shit and talk about how screwed up gaming "journalist" are.

I know twitch is banning users that do nudity, but shows are totally cool. On the one show I mentioned where they raffled off their PS3, Adam Boyles (higher up for PS at Sony) even started watching and called them, he was blown away people came up with this and thought it was awesome lol.

Twitch has been getting much more mod heavy with actual twitch admins in PS4 channels now hah. A lot of people been moving over to Ustream since that seems to be much more like the wild wild west.

The whole situation is just hilarious and I don't think anyone really expected it to happen. Only reason it can happen is due to Playroom right now lol.

Yea there are so many complaints on there. Ridiculous..someone saying they don't want the system because you can't stream media. Well, hello...that was know a while back.

Then there are people who just recommend changing the WiFi channel as that is the one and only way to fix every WiFi issue. I have neighbors on every single channel. There are about 15-18 WiFi routers if I do a quick scan.

I'm probably going to look into that trend net gaming N adapter. Since it works like my powerline adapters but wouldnt it suffer from getting signal from the router if it's meant to be connected to the ps4 not the router?
