smackababy it's a video of a "hadouken" cab company with ryu as the washed up driver of the cab. then at the end, you see it's a playstation commercial. also the license plate says ps1994, which is when the first playstation was released.

i don't have sound here, but apparently people are saying the sound of the operator might hint at some hd version of ultra sf4 or something? i'll have to wait to hear it when i get home.

Yeah I would be very stoked if the SF4 came to the next gen systems. I have to imagine an SF game of some sort will come out eventually. I watch the videos on Youtube all the time and seemingly the game is pretty popular.

Looks hard as hell though, I would probably get my butt handed to me. 🙁

Yeah I figured as much. Presumably you can buy some of them rather cheaply though. I may grab some of those old school games I used to play on Genesis.

i just want to be able to take my 360 or ps3 out of my entertainment setup because sf4 will be the only reason it stays connected. my standalone bluray player will be gone though with the ps4 and x1 being hooked up.

I bought a downloadable Street Fighter game on PS3, but I can't remember which one it was and I guess it does not matter now. :hmm:

I would consider buying the SF4 for Xbox 360 cheap, but then I would also want a six-button stick for it and that seems excessive when I can just wait for a PS4 release of whatever the next gen version will be.

Jet radio I had on Xbox because it was free but I loathe games like that!

Ps+ does seem to give pretty solid games away, no just used bin garbage from 4 years ago.

Trying to see my 360 now it is funny how worthless they are compared to used ps3's.

Ah it was that first one for sure. Thanks for the reminder. I liked it, but was too lazy to buy a six-button to play it so never really got too into it, just played it for fun when buddies were over. Good times.

Sure, but you can't guarantee what system they'll be for. For example, the last game was Dragon's Dogma for the PS3. They also release PSN games (Playable on PS3, Vita or Both) and PSOne Classics. Resogun and Contrast are two of the free games this month.

Keep in mind that there is a difference between XBOX Live Gold's "Games for Gold" and PS+'s free games. With Games for Gold, you do not have to be a Gold member to continue to play them; however, you must be a PS+ subscriber to play the PS+ free games. You do not lose the games if your subscription lapses, you just cannot play them.
 
I just played the Knack demo at my local Gamestop... Meh. There is absolutely nothing memorable (nor interesting) to this game.

The graphics were unimpressive and bland.
The game play was uninspired. It felt like Ratchet and Clark minus the charisma.

That being said, the six year old who played it after me seemed to enjoy it quite a bit.

I'm surprised this is the game they chose to load on their demo system in store.

I'm actually selling my ps3 and getting a ps4 because I know there will be no good games for it for a while lol. It'll force me to focus on more important stuff.

I figure with the way I play it will take me a few months to finish ghosts, killzone, assassins creed so after that it will probably not get turned on unless they come out with something else. I'll keep the ps3 near so I can finish up gta v and use it to stream some media from my pc.
