I think Geometry Wars holds an advantage for one big reason: it has more game modes. Although, since Super Stardust Delta has more game modes, I wouldn't be surprised to see more in Resogun. Housemarque did say that they are working on DLC.
 
i know it's basically the case of every console launch but for shame when a $15 game is the one everyone is talking about, taking both consoles into account too.

Because everything we have is just "updated" versions of what we've had for years. We have to wait until next year for either console to get anything decently new.
 
I saw angry birds on there for $50 and it made me laugh, who buys angry birds for $50? They should of made it $20 at the most its a arcade game for crying out loud. It really has me worried about plants vs zombies garden warfare costing a arm and a leg since that's the game I want to play the most on next gen system's and its owned by EA now

Yeah no way I'm paying 50 bucks for a game I play free on my phone when I'm in the bathroom. I heard plants vs zombies is good. War thunder looks good too, I saw some live streams from Europe today. I wonder when it will be out for us.
 
Supposedly plants vs zombies is a timed exclusive last time I heard. Hopefully it's not $50 or I'm gonna be pissed. I'll look into it tonight and see what I can dig up

Perhaps my reasoning for not liking Resogun is its to... easy? Maybe I'm missing something? I get savings humans, continuing to build the multiplier etc... So I go for a high score. That's fine. But I don't die. It's just a matter of getting a high score or not. Losing doesn't seem like a realistic option for me.


Whereas, in Geometry Wars - I was going to play for a few minutes then shit was gonna get crazy and I'd hold on as long as possible. It got intense and quick! Resogun just seems boring in comparison.

Play it on something harder than normal. The game is different on higher difficulties. Think bullet hell.
 
You've got more room in resogun to move then you do on geometry wars. GW was that little square and shit got hectic really fast playing that game.
I can't get over the frame rate problem with ghosts tho. That shit drives me crazy. Needless to say I'll pick up a ps4 when nba2k15 comes out because I just sold mine for $500 with ghosts tonight.

Sure resogun was fun but me making a $100 profit is even better. The system is great don't get me wrong but I'll be back when there are games worth playing

There's no frame rate problem. The game is running at 60hz but the game is going over 60fps so it drops frames. The frame limiter in the game is broken on PS4. It's actually running too fast.

You made a thread about having to buy 3 PS4s cause your buddies wanted them too and now you just claim to have sold the one you got.

My buddy actually bought it from me so they only need one more I'm gonna take a break for a while nothing is out that grabs my attention anyways

Single player is skipping ? Online only skipped the first week. I've played it a full two weeks after that while waiting for bf4 to be fixed up I never had any framerate issues. It lagged when someone with a sucky connection was hosting.

Aren't all the sports games the same ? I mean I used to buy my little brother all the wwe games on ps3 because he loved them but I swear every year it was the same crap besides the graphics being a bit better.

geometry wars had 1 mode, not sure if you are thinking about part 2 or not. part 1 had 1 mode and to me, was more fun than resogun. i think it's the fact that it was just a short quick run game you could play in 5-10 minutes, then try again to beat your high score.
