Of course we are, they are going to be probably over a million people with the system, even with successful rates for electronics being 3% or under, that is going to be a lot of people even if it is a very small percentage.

I also got the email. Just after midnight Amazon was offering a PS4/Kindle HDX bundle last night while I was browsing around. They must have had a few pS4's saved up for the midnight launch if you were lucky enough to check.

The one at GameStop in closed box doesn't get loud either.

Plus without the internet blowing everything up, it would not seem that bad at all. I guarantee more happy people not reporting anything than problems.

I'm not pissed that I don't have a PS4. I cancelled my Amazon preorder last week. But a release day change of heart moved me to give it a whirl. It's 2013. Why can't stores like WalMart get their inventory systems worked out?

same here. All in stock online. I called one and he said no.

I go to target at 8:05. Empty. Basically nobody there. Went to electronics and they had about 15 in a cage and checking three people out, but all reserved. My guess is target got no more than 30 units total.

Trying to sell mine on eBay but there are lots on there already for $8-9 so it isn't worth much.

Walmart by me took money for pre-order but sold the systems first come first serve to anyone. Some people who paid money down got shafted. So yeah...screw wally world.

I bet that $1000 eBay is rare, most goin for way less.

No idea why I didn't preorder elsewhere as well though or an xb1 as well. I only got my own ps4 on the way.

right now as i've been looking the past 15 minutes or so, they are regularly ending between 800 - 1000. i got mine ending tonight in the evening though. im hoping to capitalize on the people who searched all day and had no luck lol.
 
If I could do a local sale for $650 I would and just got without at Christmas, but I don't want to do it over eBay, so the local ones on Craigslist will have to clear out first.

god forbid you get on the phone and make a simple phone call to ask them if they had any in stock, instead of going with an automated online inventory system...

but no, then you would have to actually talk to a human being! we can't have that!

And for $550-600? The desperate things people do to make $50 and feel like they are making money lol. Shouldn't gamble your rent money like that loser.

The fake one for 4999.99 is amusing too. EBay is full of resellers who will buy their own listings with a fake account and eat it or dispute the eBay fees to get some big numbers in completed items or to raise the average sold price to try and get more on their real listings because they look like a steal in comparison.

it really is not much work at all for some extra bucks. literally all i will have to do is make a 5 minute drive to fedex and spent about 10 minutes making an ebay auction. that's it. i think most people would take $50+ for 15 minutes of their time.

my goal is that if it hits over $600 i'll be cool with that because i'll make like $100 after fees and stuff. not bad for 15 minutes of my time. if it makes anymore than that, great. if it makes me less than that, then i'll still be okay with it as long as i break even. it was worth the risk to me.

How is selling a 400$ console for $550-600 making 50$. I have mine waiting i hope to sell closer to X-mas when hopefully every one elses inventory has dried up.

That's messed up did you get your money back? What the hell is a pre order good for if they won't hold it for you? What assholes.

I hope best buy didn't screw me over either. Heading there now.

I remember a month before the PS3 was released they were all over eBay for $2500 or more and people were actually buying them.

PS- never pre-order anything from Walmart, they don't really care.

PSS- Craigslist and Kijiji are much cheaper to sell stuff on.

Ebay fees Paypal fees shipping eat $100 off the top. If you had to pay tax for the unit like some people that's another $30-40 to get he unit in your hands, too.

There is also significant risk.
I would not consider eBay unless I could net $150 or more.mi think Craigslist is far safer.'the only way you get scammed then is if your buyer resorts to violence, exceedingly unlikely.
