Dang, i'm only on the 2nd Zelda Dungeon. Although admittedly, I have limited playing time. Only have 4 hearts at the moment, and 2 pieces of a 5th.

Picked up Trauma Center today from Gamestop and I must say.....this game makes chinese algebra look easy. However it's fun as heck!
Especially for me since I work at a trauma hospital 😀

Just bought 3 nunchucks from the Target in Columbia, MD

They just got a shipment of about 100 wii's and tons of controllers in and were unboxing them when I got there. Just an FYI for anyone in the area.

I think I found one heart piece in the goron mines and one in the village immediately after I beat the mines. I've collected 5 total, so I must have found 3 before that... 2 were in the Forrest Temple I think.

My shield burned up in the mines.... where do I get a metal shield?

I'm not going to buy my fourth remote until Wii Play comes out. It comes with a remote, so that makes the game itself pretty darn cheap. Can't wait until January. 🙂

are the metal slug games multiplayer?

The arcade games are all two player as are the ports to the Xbox. So I'd guess yes, but I have no definite answer.

yeah, i can't seem to find a site that says whether it is or not
well i found one site that says multiplayer bit it mentioned online, nothing about 2 players on the same screen.

It must be then if it has online. The Metal Slug games don't require split screen or anything. The 2 players have to always stay on the same screen, so I'd imagine it would definitely have local 2 player if it also has internet play.

I got shipping confirmation on my Wiimote, 2 nunchucks, and component cables.

Me too...around 10am est. UPS doesn't have the tracking # in their system yet though. I'm really dying to get this...haven't played anything else but Wii sports so far partially because I didn't want to be completely disappointed in the graphics. Wish I had ordered a nunchuck and classic controller as well.

Dude, ease up, I made a point of not giving any information about how to find the heart pieces.

Got my component cables in from Nintendo last night. There is a huge improvement in Zelda on my TV. I really didn't expect to see as much of an improvement as I do.

My Gamecube has the port to plug in component cables, but I never bought them. So now I'm ready to go back and enjoy all of the 480p enabled GC games that I didn't get to fully enjoy in the first place 🙂

Gee, I wonder why the Wii controllers are sold out?

DIE, ASSWIPE! DIE!!!!!

He has about 40 remotes and probably 30 nunchucks sitting on his living room floor there.

Doesn't seem like he's gouging though. How much are those separately? And, wasn't there supposed to be a combo pack for about $10 less than separate?

$15 over the normal price + $15 for shipping not gouging i guess but not cool either. i'm not worried too much about his price, just the fact that he has like 40 controllers. how do people get this many? was there no limit?

haven't heard anything about combo pack for $50

Normal price is about 60 bucks for both the nunchuck($20) and the remote($40).

So yah I just hooked up my component cables, and yes, it makes a pretty significant difference in Zelda. It's much crisper and smoother, but now the jaggies are a lot more apparent heh. But it's definitely better than before by a long shot.

Next question ...

Has anyone used the cheapo HDMI cables from monoprice? The $6 or so ones? I'm wondering because I have 3 component items (Xbox360, HD Cable Box, and now the Wii) and my TV only has 2 component inputs. I'm thinking about just getting the HDMI cables for my cable box and then I can use both component inputs for the consoles.

SO has anyone used the cheap HDMI cables from monoprice? I think I'm going to order one tonight or tomorrow for my cable box, but figured I'd ask here.

Funny you asked that. I ordered some today from them because I have the exact same problem you do. I should get the cable by the end of the week and I can let you know how it works.

LOL nice 😛

I just ordered one actually ... like $10 shipped USPS Priority to Maryland from California. Not too bad at all 😛

i ordered a 25ft component and a 25ft s-video for pretty damn cheap too. i can finally hook up my Wii with pregressive scan, it will finally reach

What cables should I order from monoprice that are compatible with the Wii?

not to take this off topic but i ordered my cables the 27th and i got them today the 29th, standard shipping too.........nice, first time i've ordered from them. glad it pays to live in LA

Seriously I know everyone is hooked on Zelda but if you can find it, GET TRAUMA CENTER!!!!!

It's seriously challenging and has huge replay value.

Definitely has me hooked on it more than Zelda.

And like I posted before its seriously ridiculously hard and unforgiving yet that is what makes it so much fun!
