got in line at 7:20 this morning at best buy (columbus, ohio)...handed out vouchers at 9, opened the doors at 10.

No extra remotes : /, but plenty of games.

42 out of 51...so much for *hording* a stock till Sunday.

I love my wiiii.

Got mom to make a mii and played some tennis/bowling : P

As an actual tennis player, i can't wait till they get things *just right* nevertheless, it's still a lot of fun!

Picked up zelda and trauma center as well.

Yes, you can play original NES via the wiimote.

yeah and it sucks.

i'm still going to get the classic controller and a gamecube. but so far only downloaded Zelda heh

NES games suck w/ the wiimote? seems odd.. unless it's just too narrow. hrm.. probably it. I will be getting at least one wavebird. I just wish it would work w/ the non-nintendo virtual console games too (is it just me or is saying VC games too awkward.. maybe it's because I'm vietnamese.. heh)

All the pictures I've seen of the wii show it with a blue light coming out of the slot where you put disks in, but on mine it only flashes when I first turn on the system or put in a game, then turns back off. Is there a setting somewhere where I enable the light or am I looking at a possible exchange?

Well I'm a pro now at Bowling, beat the first boss in Zelda...and well, I'm hooked. This isnt novelty is anything like that. I haven't touched my PC to game since before i bought the Wii.

Otherwise, I'm actually pissed, the gamestop where i reserved Trauma Center had a hiccup in their shipping of their copies of Trauma Center, and I feel like an idiot cuz I paid for it in full and I cant get a refund :|

this should be in the instructions, but I've heard it lights up when you have a message, otherwise it stays off, try sending yourself a message.

Ah, I'll try that later on.

On a related note, is there a thread for setting up Wii friends so the Mii's can go to each others Wii's?

I keep hovering around the 1000 mark, one game I'll make pro, the next I'll lose it. Does pro status have any effect on the game other than that it says pro next to your name?

I find it easier to bowl with it compared to the original ball.

Try Boxing once you get to around ~800 points....then suddenly it gets hard.

On that note, I'm gonna try the Wii diet, which is eating right and playing at least an hour of Wii Sports a day with at least 20 minutes devoted to boxing.

We'll see if I lose any weight.

I'm at 793 points ATM and the last 4 fights have all went to the final round. I won 2 and lost 2. I was sweating so much I had to shower again.

boxing gets real hard after about 600 points, I get real tired and somehow the controls dont seem right.

Tennis is real fun but after about 800 or so the opponents keep hitting the power serves.

I havent played baseball against the computer for any appreciaable amount of time, i get bored after about 4 innings, do you have to go the whole 9 innings?

Not to mention once u get higher levels the computer just continually leans and you cant get a hit on them. ITs strange.
