My receipt has a timestamp of 2:08 pm EST (EDT? Are we still on daylight savings?). <-- Canada.

There was stock. you just missed it. Bummer dude.

Also says shipping by Nov. 5. Really hoping they actually mean by end of day today.

i think it means ships by the 5th with the 2-5 days to deliver depending.

Yeah, I plan to do the same. Do I need to do anything with my carrier(ST) to get to work?

If you've had your Straight Talk SIM for a while, chances are it doesn't have LTE support.

Get a new SIM. Straight Talk just recently rolled out new AT&T SIM cards with LTE support, and since Nexus 5 is the first Nexus phone with an LTE radio, you should get a new SIM card to go along with it. 🙂

Okay, thanks! Currently, I get unlimited for $42.50/month, will I be associate the new sim to this plan or be forced to pay $45/month?

edit - Looks like I should be able to viewing my ST Account

Not 100% sure, but I think you should be able to just order the new SIM, transfer your number from the old card to the new, and not mess with your billing.

If you don't mind me asking, how are you paying $42/mo? Did you get a lifelong discount coupon for being a new customer? I remember they had a promotion where you could get a permanent 15% off on your bill (or something like that), but it was only for new customers so I couldn't do it. As such, I'm paying the regular $45 ($49 after taxes).

damn, debating of upgrading from my Galaxy Nexus, shouldn't be an issue but I want to wait for a few reviews to come in first.

Edit: Bah, caved in a bought it! I've waited too long and have been itching to get a new phone, almost caved in and bought the S4 since the Nexus 4 wasn't on Verizon.

If it works anything like the N4 you shouldn't need to do anything else. I have been popping in and out SIMs on mine.

Thanks, only issue will be it looks like I need to get a new ST Simcard to get ATT LTE.

edit - doing a little research, some folks say I won't need to get a new simcard.

I have the Note 2 as well. I did buy the 32GB White then cancelled it after a bit of thinking... what would I really be using this phone for that isn't different from my Note 2 already? Hm...

Yea I figured the same. Right now i'm running a 32gb class 10 microsd card that I keep my media and photos on and if I didn't have it~ my phone would be bogged down like crazy.

I'll see how the reviews are like. I may even try the Jedi rom before making the jump.

guys I'm not particularly knowledgeable about the lte bands and such. i have the nexus 4 and know it is pentaband... i do jump between att and t-mobile networks through prepaid sim cards... will I be able to do the same thing with the nexus 5?

I just impulse bought the 32gb version since I don't want to wait months to get one...
