Wait am I seeing this right?

CDMA: Band Class: 0/1/10
WCDMA: Bands: 1/2/4/5/6/8/19

Can I use this baby on verizon?
 
These are moving fast. In Canada, now showing leaving warehouse date as Nov 8. I guess the first round of stock is gone!
 
WCDMA is GSM 3G, and it doesn't have Verizon's Band 13 700mhz.

So... maybe you can SIM-swap sneak it on, but it won't connect to most of their LTE network and it's definitely not "for" Verizon.
 
32gb Black Ordered

When I get it, can I just pop-out the Sim in my N4 and pop it in the N5? Will I need to do anything else? I'm using ST.
 
sweet, ordered 2 32gb blacks

glad to see there's a per-account device limit now or 2 per color/size. should help with the craziness experienced with the n4 launch.
 
I really wish the GSM carriers near me had better coverage. I would switch to ATT in a heartbeat for phones like this but verizon's coverage is in a different league in the areas i use most often.
 
For some reason it would not let me choose black with the 32GB model. So I had to pick white instead. And I couldn't even find the 32GB model on the Play store, had to use a direct link here.

Google is so bad at launching products. They just toss it on their Play Store without even an official announcement now. Strange.

I had the same problem but if you start from the Playstore homepage and go to devices, you'll see the N5 listed where the N4 was and you should be able to see the 32gb black.

edit - Some of the links are messed up. I was just able to select the 32gb black.

I tried that, all I see is a 16GB black Nexus 5 that is out of stock.

However I realized that if I erase "white" from the URL linked earlier and changed it to "black", then I was able to get to the black 32GB and order it.

Awesome, I follow this launch for weeks, checking frequently for updates hoping to see a release date so I can plan to be available. I take lunch off today, miss that it was announced the same day it was listed for sale and lose out on getting an order in. Hope this isn't their new release method.
