Sounds nice. Think I could make a profit by buying one on contact, cancelling and paying the ETF, and selling it on ebay?

how do you know its a15?

Also regarding LTE will there be region specific phones? Or one phone can roam the world in LTE? I really want the latter. This fragmentation bullshit is pissing me off.

Anand says it's an A-15 on his live blog.

And apparently that single LTE radio supports all those bands

Well they said the same with the iphone 4s but when I upgraded from 4 to 4s, my battery life was cut almost by half.

Anand says "Exceeded the battery life of the iPhone 4S"

Plus 8 hours of LTE browsing claimed. That's real nice.

less efficient OS

It can't be just that. All Motorola phones have _far_ longer 3G talk time than any other phone, period, for instance. And there are Androids with 3G browsing close to that of the iPhones. Just nobody putting it all in one package.

The leaks were right. The iPhone has become the Toyota Camry of the smartphone world: safe, reliable, and a bit boring. Like the Camry, it will be a bestseller.

They nailed the design ... why would they want to change that?

Battery life is always a huge selling point of Apple. They put a lot more work into this compared to other companies, who basically just brute force their battery life (aka Motorola RAZR)

Wanted more from the camrea but not bad.
Did anything actually change with the camera? Specs look identical. All the new "features" are on the software side.

Dual core Cortex A15 really surprised me. Very impressive. I did not expect that at all. Bravo Apple.

Well they claimed 7 hours of 3g talk time on the 4 and 8 hours for the 4s... but it actually went down for me. I'll actually have to use it real-world to see if it holds up to it's claims because their previous claim didn't come into fruition for me.

iphone didnt have panaroma?

not by default, but there were aps that did it for you. photosynth i beleive is a popular one

as for the battery life, an all in 1 chip soloution helps a bit IIRC no android phone has this yet. IOS is typically more efficent, however that does not mean its perfect, my buddy with a 4s uses his phone a ton and has to charge it 2x a day

Am I the only one that is disappointed thus far? The design looks way to tall and awkward. CPU s great, but everything else seems like its playing catch up.....
