they did that once for the 4. Never again. Not sure why? Maybe the internets crashed. Companies ran out of bandwidth cuz everyone was streaming at work...

no fortune 500 companies have custom PC apps? yeah, i don't believe that for a second.

I've not watched an Apple product launch live before, do they always do the "This is what we've done aren't we wonderful" stuff?

Yeah it's annoying, I wish they'd spend less time cheerleading and just get on to showing what people actually care about.

I've not watched an Apple product launch live before, do they always do the "This is what we've done aren't we wonderful" stuff?

You know the Google OS keynotes are the exact same:

- Number of activations/month
- # of apps
- # of downloads

in fact they show off the same numbers as Apple does. I had a thread where I screenshotted the iOS4 launch and the Froyo launch and they look identical in the beginning lol

I don't normally watch product launches live, this ones just on at a convenient time in the UK.

The leaks were right. The iPhone has become the Toyota Camry of the smartphone world: safe, reliable, and a bit boring. Like the Camry, it will be a bestseller.
