Wow. Republicans just don't know when to quit. 15 day abortion ban.
15 days is basically the day of conception because the clock starts on the first day of the previous period. So I guess in New Hampshire pulling out will now be considered abortion. I'm sure this is part an attempt to ban Plan B.

Did you know those shitbag Republicans in Michigan passed a law that required women to purchase supplemental rape insurance in case they were raped, became pregnant so they could obtain an elective abortion. Gov Whitmer was able to repeal this heinous law today.

They really are fucking evil.

I think it's high time we draw the battle lines and start to realize that the way this country's government is stacked from the federal to state levels in favor of these evil people, the sooner we can find an actual way to try to save most of us from it.

Here's why Republicans are no better than China.

China: forced abortions by the state
US red states: Women with unviable fetuses or raped forced to carry fetus to term.

Either way the state is taking control of women's bodies. Can you imagine the Republican outrage if blue states passed forced abortion laws?

This is why the pro-choice is the only sensible position.

It's been hilarious watching Ted Cruz squirm when asked about the Texass ruling on the woman trying to get an abortion. Ted just keeps repeating call my office, then the reporter says they have and they won't say anything. No abortion states desperately trying to kill pro choice initiatives. They know they will lose.

The contrast between the GOP candidates’ maneuvering toward the middle and the real-world events that remind the public of the party’s most aggressively anti-abortion faction shows how vexing the issue remains for the party. Eighteen months after the fall of Roe v. Wade, even Republicans who try to moderate — or, like Donald Trump, try not to talk about it — are struggling mightily to get on the right side of popular opinion.

After a series of losses in 2022 for anti-abortion causes and Republicans who supported them, 2023 only further demonstrated the staying power of abortion rights in the longer-term aftermath of Roe being overturned. Voters overwhelmingly backed abortion rights — twice — in Ohio, a state that has trended deep red in recent years. It also played out in elections across the country, like when Virginia Democrats seized full control of the state legislature by centering abortion rights in their campaigns and a liberal justice flipped ideological control of the Wisconsin Supreme Court by leaning into the issue.

Calling it Rape Insurance is great politics, but it's truly far worse that. Few women are going to thinking "you know, I might need an abortion next year" during open enrollment and would likely forgo paying a extra fee for it. And there are many reasons a woman might need or want an abortion besides for rape.

It just pure hatred of women.
