Isn't it weird that the same people who claim so loudly to be champions of freedom, liberty, and small govt also want the govt to control your body and define who you can or cannot be?

Just an observation. But, I recently watched the Washington Huskie Woman's baseball team play in the world series. Not something I usually follow but since they made it to that level I thought I would watch.
Anyway, are they trying too hard to be super feminine or what. The whole makeup thing. I haven't seen women wearing so much make up, since the late sixties.
Edit: I don't know why I was picking on women, there are several male players in multiple sports with multicolored pony tails that are as thick as a hogie playing sports these days.
